Whats the difference , no quality... how well does it lubricate? how much deposit build up? how do we define quality? the answer is as broad as the answer to the oil question, just use a reputable motorcycle specific brand and mix correctly. some good brands are Bellray, Golden Spectro, Silcolene, Maxima, & Yamalube.
January 4, 201115 yr UK based you want a good quality off road type oil Putoline Castrol tts (good for everything) PJ1 try and buy from a motorcycle dealer.
January 4, 201115 yr Author Thanks, My manual ~(gas gas) doesnt say which to use. Local bike dealer only seels Silcoline for scooters and mopeds, Halfords seems to only sell general stuff.Thought i'd ask the people who know . Cheers guys
January 4, 201115 yr think of oils like alcoholic drinks - mineral oils are lager, semi-synthetics are a fine wine and fully-synthetics are a well aged whisky you get what you pay for - i use putolene fully synthetic MX5 thats what i reckon Tony

January 4, 201115 yr Hi Gerko Castrol TTS is very good ... as is Castrol XR77 which is the best premix oil Castrol do for unleaded petrol. 75mls in 5 litres of fuel should be spot on Cheers
