April 6, 200521 yr Does anyone know anything about renault masters and vauxhall movanos? Good or bad , thinking of getting one and dont know much about them,Looking at a 51 reg , what engine sizes do they do? what power do they put out? are they the same with different badges? what their cruising speed / top speed Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance wayne
April 6, 200521 yr We have a renult master its the 2.5 Td model. It goes a treat loads of power. We used to have a transit which was slow didnt pull very well but was super reliable. The master we have is on a T plate. This was the last model they made before they went to fly by wire. Ive heard that when this goes wrong it is expensive to fix. Im not too sure aboout the vauxhalls they both look the same! Dont know its top speed. but it will cruise happily at 80- 85 mph.The acceleration is good and reliabilty is good. April 6, 200521 yr I no the 2.2 Diesel traffic does 0 - 60 in 11secs! not sure about the master tho. they all start at 1.9 non - turbo up to 2.5 turbo. They go like s**t! Dont no anything bout the Vauxhall tho but its the same basic van! and they'll both go round the clock like six times
April 7, 200521 yr it is! 11secs. not wrong. Must be better than I thought, VW 174 does it in 12.2 and has a top speed of 117mph renault (2.7 140Top of range) does 106mph think 11 may be optimistic manufacturers figures? Cetain that the 90 and 120bhp models don't do 11 secs for sure. The 90 only has a top speed of 86mph so its definately not 11 secs for that one. Edited April 7, 200521 yr by Nigel Dabster

April 7, 200521 yr Jools r u not thinking of the newer renault trafics and vivaro's (vito size) the master and movano are abit big to be putting figures like 11secs!!!! unless someone has stuck nitro V8 in it! And boy would that drink the fuel more than the normal masters/movano
