Nigel Birkett had a very good British Championship season on one and Brian Hutchinson always seemed to be winning on his. No doubt you'll be able to track one down via this site.
September 17, 201213 yr Yes, torquey little motor, more than enough for modern easy route or any classic event. Nimble chassis.
October 5, 201213 yr The 123 and 200 are very light, they came right at 173 lbs. The rims and spokes are weak, they benifit greatly from a carburetor upgrade. Fun bikes, easy to ride, almost light as a modern bike, add quality shocks and well tuned forks, its a winner.
October 5, 201213 yr Not much better than anything else really, with the disadvantage of a small motor. Hutch and birks were exceptional riders
October 7, 201213 yr at the time the 156 fantic was slightly better but not much in it. Both good bikes especially in northern trials where power was less of an issue.
