Now in December '87, Shirty Jr. arrived over to the Irish Experts in Glendalough (scene of the 1990 WR) with the ex-Lejeune RTL.......

And the last one I have........... Shirty then rode an '88 model (have pics somewhere of him on it at the '88 Irish World Round) so mustn't have stuck with the works bike for long, or was it just tarted up with plastics & disc brakes??

I can remember Paul and Derrick Edmondson riding the in the Scott trial on Rtl's in Rothmans colours.

saw you were talking about Johnny Andersson, if i can remember right he won the US championship with a RTL. i do know he disassembled his honda into bits and packed it all in suitcases and flew to the US.

i think he switched to yamaha in 87 or something because i have a video from 87 when he is practicing with my dad and then his rides a yamaha ty 350.

Looking for some info on oil coolers i came across the shot of Derek Edmunson with an RTL reg number C612UBY.

My TLR with a RTL bottom half is C613 UBY Registerd by Honda In Jan 86. Anyone know who might have owned this bike?
