My dealer has a 2015 factory 300 in stock.

I had a Techno back when and loved it (until I went Montesa).

I had 3 Late model montesas  (Loved all)

I don't love my Montesa 4rt.

Any thoughts?

I'm not here to bad mouth the 4rt.

We just never had a meeting of the minds.

I have friends who moved up a class upon purchase (and practice).

I wasn't as fortunate.

How will the 300 compare to the last years Montesa 2 strokes?

Awesome bike with stacks of smooth power

Friend has a 2014 300 Factory. Sweet bike. I thought it would be all kinds of unridable but it is about the smoothest and most forgiving engine I've tried yet. The chassis feels about 10lbs lighter than my 2013 300. If it doesn't break the bank go for it. Especially since with the GasGas troubles he may not have it long. Beta's are getting in short supply.

What year Montesa 4RT do you have? I am thinking of buying one of the new ones. Current ride is 300 Beta Evo 4T, stroker as well. Love the bike, just getting tired of the repair on the motor, valves and carb issues.
