July 13, 201511 yr Not many reviews online of 125s. I've ridden a few older 2006, prob tired beta 125s. Which is meant to be the best allround 125 of 2015? Cheers
July 13, 201511 yr Author Arnt they unreliable for bad starting? The rider would of had a mechanic and spares?
July 13, 201511 yr Arnt they unreliable for bad starting? The rider would of had a mechanic and spares? Not in the SSDT - spares only what he can carry - and only rider to work on the bike
July 13, 201511 yr Getting hold of a new Ossa or Gas Gas is going to be hard and what is going to be the situation with parts in years to come? That basically leaves you Beta, Sherco and Scorpa 125's and for me it would have to be the Beta. An engine & gearbox that has been well proven over the years. Great spares backup here in the UK from a company (John Lampkin imports) that has been with the brand for years. My own lad came up on a 2011 Evo and we never had a days trouble with it. He now rides a 2013 300 Evo and I have a 2014 Evo outfit.
July 13, 201511 yr Paul is right. Stick with either Beta or Sherco. Decent bikes and spares readily available when you need them. GG and Ossa are risky in the longer term.
July 15, 201511 yr The beta evo 125 engine is brilliant, nice torque & fast response. No problem for 90kg boy!
