telecat
Well after two years The Jotagas is being moved on. It's been a blast but from now on We'll be in the Ossa Forums. The allure of Fuel Injection just too much for my Son. So long and thanks for the fish!!

telecat
The Bike is a 14 TR300i and was a Birketts bike but not one used by Billy Bolt. The reason for the change was to try and avoid the carb setting up Chris has had to do on all his bikes since the Sherco he had back in 2004. He hates wasting time playing with carbs at the start of Trials. He will be looking at the New Ossa and the Vertigo once they start production. eddie_lejeune
carbs aren't hard to set, usually set it once and that's it?
telecat
Round here the Height difference between Trials around Leeds and up in the Pennines means you usually have to mess around. We aren't the only ones and it's probably down to using Kehin Carbs.

If i can set up and work out what makes a dellorto run ok then anyone can.
telecat
Chris thinks Dellorto's are a bit "flat". We have run Kehin's but they are too fiddly. Fi is the future so why not delve in now. The Weekend will be the first test.
nigel dabster
If he can tell a dellorto is flat with a bit of help he could adjust a kehin. Once a kehin is set up correctly unless you go to 1000m you only need to adjust the mixture occasionally by hand. To move to a bike that has no real spares back up and isnt produced at all seems a funny way to avoid setting a carb up right?
canada280i
Still plenty of spares available for ossa if you need them
nigel dabster
Still plenty of spares available for ossa if you need them Are you sure? The factory and spares set up has been effectively shut for 9 months so who is supplying the hard to get obscure bits?
