You might want to pull the flywheel and check the wood rough key has not sheared.

I was the thinking about that but wouldn't it still spark just not at the right time , the flywheel doesn't seem loose and spins when it's kicked over , thanks for your help

On older bikes, as yours is, I'd hazard a guess, the fall has dislodged one of your spade connectors.

We all change a lot of the consumables, but cheap spade connectors deteriorate over time but we never check 'em. Get the tank off and have a look and feel. Pull and check each one, looking is never the same as feeling!

Often the kill switch wires along the handlebars get pinched and short out...would look at this or completely unplug it before checking anything else...Your starting your girlfriend out on a 321...?:o

I've just been out now check continuity each side of all plugs and connectors spades etc ...... nothing , checked continuity with the 3 wires just as they come out the engine to plug at the top too , starting to get annoyed now ?? any ideas peops ???

I'd go with checking the Woodruff key.  If the flywheel has moved sufficiently then the timing will be so far out that you won't get a spark.  Easy job, if you have the tools of course.

Anyone know what ohms readout I should be getting from the ignition coil ?? Thanks for all your help guys

I have to ask if you even really know what sort of spark you are looking for!  Them things will only throw a weak blue spark that one may only see in a dark shed! And then only .5mm!

Hi I'm 99% sure there is none I will check in a dark shed later but I have a thing that goes In line to the plug that flashes when the plug sparks and nothing I tested the coil ohms values but I'm unsure of what they should be ?
