To good to be true?

Featured Replies

Hey folks!  Has anyone ever heard of Stupidgreg.com..... ?

I just bought another trials bike after a few years away from the sport and was looking for good prices on gear and apparel and found this site. Like I stated, it seems to good to be true.....  They do not accept Pay Pal like most places in the USA and I can't seem to find anything on the net about them as a company.

Anyone,  unfortunately, get burned by them?

Thanks

I admit maybe paranoia but I would be a bit skeptical myself.  Though it would be nice if I was wrong...

Looks like the site isn't responding any more... maybe it got taken offline?

I thought about that! Just afraid they might charge my card for other purchases and then have to fight to get my money back.... Then get a new credit card!

I considered ordering the GasGas shift lever, it's about $12 US.

I use a prepaid credit cart for web purchase, so most they will get if they steal info is about $50

Good thinking Zippy.... It might be worth a shot to try it!

I never used a pre paid credit card before. I rely on PayPal for most everything!

I was able to find it online,  http://www.stupidgreg.com

I even emailed them about how long shipping would take to the states and received a reply answer or 5-7days.....?

I think it must have just been offline for a few, its back online now.  :icon_salut:

You could always just spend the rest (or as much as possible) of the card the same day to prevent that.  ;)

I even have it linked to my PayPal (paranoia runs deep within me :D )

There is always room for more beer in the house, good idea

Ask them to send some sales leaflets, brochures free. It’s only the profit that makes things you buy expensive! Some people/company’s do operate on slim margins (profits) but tread carefully. Pre- paid credit card is a very sensible method to check Stupidgreg.com ?
