betaflaxton
Hi all sufferer of plantar fascists, so I need a stiff sole on a trials boot , which brand has the stiffest sole in the arch area
faussy
Id say possibly the alpinstars followed by the sidi. Absolutely NOT gaerne!
mcman56
I find that Forma has the same wide fit as Gaerne but are much stiffer. Once broken in Gaerne boots feel like bedroom slippers. The Forma soles are much more durable and do not get chewed up by the foot pegs either. They are slightly taller if that makes a difference. I tried on Alpinstars but the fit was way too narrow.
cascao
Forma is stiffer than Gaerne and alpinestars
lemur
I suspect it is a steel shank sole you are looking for and I think that is something found in enduro and MX boots but not so much in trials specific boots.

The soles are not very flexible compared to other boots.
