Hi Everyone, I have to do a research topic for a college project. I have chosen to do it on the rule change in trials of the outdoor world round. If you could answer theses questions it would be greatly appreciated!! It wont take long! Could you type the question number and then where it says circle the answers could you please just type them out, and where it says "why" just type the reason underneath. E.g. Q1 Rider, spectator, observer. I need as many people as possible to fill these out! Thanks in advance Grant Trials Questionnaire 1. How are you involved with trials? (Please circle as many as you need to). RIDER / SPECTATOR / ORGANISER / OBSE…

Our club just had their yearly rules meeting. Just a little informal get together. We try to make sure we are caught up with NATC and FIM rules. One of the questions asked was as follows. When a rider is stuck on an obstacle, sitting on the skidpan but no footing, should points be given for piviting his feet on the pegs and pushing with his toes to free himself. We looked at all the rules and there is no where that would make that legal yet if you watch any trial from the world level down to the local level it is common practice with no penalty. The rules clearly say that the only legal contact points are skidpan and tirers. Is there something we are missing. I have w…

Here's one to dream about. I'm getting increasingly disillusioned with my job (IT Project Manager) and think more and more about quitting. I'd love to make a living in something trials related. I keep thinking about working out how to get hold of some land to allow Trials practice on and maybe club events. I know there's lots of red tape .... but .... Would there be enough income to make a living ? Within the UK where d'you think this would succeed best ? Would you pay, how much, for as good practice site ? What would you do ?

Hi, I'm a complete newbie here, so please treat with care I'm a bit of an oldie at 42 but have always fancied having a go at trialing although I have no prior experience of motorbike riding! Now that I have a little spare cash and a bit of time now that my girls are getting a bit bigger I've started thinking about getting a bike to have a bit of fun. I was thinking of spending about

hello, I've got a 92 Fantic K-Roo 212cc - It's got a wierd power delivery problem: I can go up slowly through the revvs on a flat surface, but if I suddenly accellerate, or put the bike under more load (e.g. go up a hill) it just drowns out. I've tried taking the exhaust (tailpipe) off and no difference - so not a tailpipe problem I've had the carb cleaned out I've changed plugs Anymore bright ideas? I'm looking to get the bike fixed up and sell it (Dundee, UK if anyone interested!) Thanks N

Hey Guys, The rear brake pads on my 1997 Fantic Section (AJP) were worn out. I pressed the pistons back in and replaced the pads. Now, I have no rear brakes. I know that there must be aair in the system. However, I have been trying to get the air out of this system for hours! I got a vacuum bleder system, but that has not helped. Any ideas? Thanks, Tony P Charlotte, NC USA

Two barmy smoggies, me and the Cota Kid are off to support Dougie and the Brit boys in Spain in the Spanish Outdoor round. Travelling first class, of course, we are hoping to hire a local means of transport (donkeys not included) and high tail it to the nearest hostel. If any one else is travelling from London Stanstead on the 31st March, they are welcolm to hitch a ride and enjoy a bit of crack with plenty of San Miguel along the way!!!!! Good luck to the Brit boys, its going to be one hell of a weekend!!!!!

Seeing the drop offs they do, i feel safe to say they use different suspension. Who knows what they have different to ours? Heavier springs, progressive springs, heavier valving, different pistons rebound and compression etc. When i drop of 3 feet i bottom my suspension.
