Our trailer 'expired' on the way home from a trial yesterday. Luckily we got both bikes back to base safely but now we need a replacement. Has anybody got a reasonably priced one available for sale at the moment? in the Southern part of the country.

I need to locate someone to rewind my ignition source coils on my 83 fantic 240 pro . I have two sets and neither pair is worth a s%%t. I also would like to locate a new coil trigger if possible. And does anyone have the test specs for the ignition because I can't find the ones I had ?!?... I am in the US, but if I have to ship it all across the pond I guess I will have to. Thanks... Glenn

Rode this bike for one year, new rings/piston, cilinder freshly hooned. lubrication 1% synthetic. Rings were sticking due to carbonised and were not sealing properly. Engine did run oke nevertheless, which is funny. In my area i never use more than half throttle max. Is this picture a normall clinderbowl look due to low throttle for one year.

Just a thought for all secretaries at events. Some riders are good enough or privilidged enough to have a sponsor or two to help fund their trials riding. These companies / individuals receive very little recognision for their efforts. One sure way of keeping sponsor happy is to see his name alongside the bike (ie Repsol Beta / JST Gas Gas etc) in the results sheet and in TMX News results / Trials Central etc.It is very important for the rider / company and will lead to more help in the future, not just for individuals but for clubs and events. Just a thought.

The spokes on my Gas Gas have started to show signs of rust where they go into the rims. Is there anyway of preventing the rust showing as much and or stopping it getting worse?? Cheers

Mich, tell them Brits what it is like to ride on REAL ROCKS! Uou know, BIG ones that are so dry and grippy they rip the little knobbies right off your tires! Sorta like that big chunk of raw granite in my avitar! If you fall on that stuff you're gonna loose a lotta skin!

Coming up against a strange problem when running the Climber (just to make sure it still works) in the it starts fine, runs fine, revs ok (hangs a little but I suspect this is the flywheel weight slowing throttle response) but if I leave it to tick over, it loads up and dies, flooding the engine and making it impossible to start. I'm thinking that maybe 5 mins isn't enough to get it properly warmed and that it's just loading up because of that. Any ideas? Plug is brand new by the way, looks the perfect tan colour.

Motobatics. That's what trials have become. Trials bikes have evolved too far from what the average motorcycle rider is interested in. Many, if not most, US motorcyclist has no idea what a trials event is. I suggest a new sport called Motobatics. Start with the current trials bikes, and allow unlimited development. Use only artificial sections like some the demonstration setups we see. Have vertical walls, spiraling loops, six 3' steps, and jump gaps with difficult approaches and landings. This could all be setup where there's parking for spectators, and camera crews. We already have stunt bikes, just merge the two. It would be a competition with very light, powered machi…
