So many choices? I have a new 250 Pro and plan on using Klotz Super Techniplate w/20% castor. Used this last year in my 300 Pro with good luck. The motor was stripped at the end of the season and I could wipe the deposits off the piston and head. Everyone has their favorite, I would like to know why and what have you found when using them? I have used Torco, Motul, Ipone, Spectro and Maxima, None gave me trouble but I like the smell of the Klotz best. The extra cushion the castor provides is attractive to me.

I have a set of magnesium alloy forks that require welding. Both bottom lugs are snapped for holding the spindle. The plan is to build up one side with fresh metal and re-drill. My work place is capable of the welding, but the welder requires what type of magnesium alloy rod to use. He thinks a 30% rod, but would like verification Can anyone please help.

did a trial last week and leaves clogged the front mudguard really bad (so much it stopped the bike and the back wheel just spun, and I had to drag the fuggin thing up a hill before I realised the prob ) So, I know you can get spacers, but being a tighta$$ - is there any reason why I just can't ride without the guard (keep the brace)? Bike is a TYZ250 if it matters cheers :hat:

I have seen this tool that looks like a sausage that is supposed to help fit a tubless rear tyre on the YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE website. I always struggle at home trying to get a seal using straps and ropes etc. Has anybody used this tool? I have read the "How to" guide but it doesnt seem too clear. Does the kit come with two sealing rubbers for both sides of the tyre? Any info appraciated as I dont want to waste my money on a useless tool. Tony M

Hello, I'm a new rider from Colorado and have just purchased a GG300. While watching the Duluth trials competition DVD, I was very confused on several scoring issues. I've asked these questions on Ktmtalk.com and here is the link http://ktmtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=139126&st=0&. It occurred to me that there were some experts across the water who might be able to clear this up, assuming AMA rules (which do refer to the FIM) are the same as yours. I'm especially interested in the rules about backing up, or stopping with the skid plate supported on a rock, since both of these seemed to occur regularly in the DVD. Thanks and hello.
