Not a very excitiing topic, but every now and again someone asks about opinions on boots.... well, to be honest, I dont have MUCH experience of other boots...but I just want to say.... WELL DONE SIDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........my trials boots are now over 2 years old...have seen, I think well over 600 hours of trials use, and probably half as much again on the road with my road bike. You can see by the pictures, that they still have some life left!!...all pretty good for just over 100 pounds...(here in Hong Kong) Yep...you'll see I did re-sole them with a Gaerne sole, but to be honest, i didnt NEED too, it was more an experiment than anything. Anyone thinking of doing that..…

I have difficulty adjusting the clutch lever on my 2000 Mont (and on other bikes i've owned). The problem is i've got small hands hence the lever is closer to the bars than would normally be the case, this results in the clutch dragging. One option I've been thinking of is fitting a new master cylinder with a bigger piston, this would presumably give more movement at the slave for less movement at the master cylinder. Has anyone any thoughts on this?

Looking to make contact with readers who are located in Germany. Think I have seen a handful on here. My daughter is currently living there, and my brother in law is riding more, and looking for others to link with in the Trials community in Germany. Anyway, post here if you would or e-mail me at trialsalan AT bellsouth dot net

Hello guys (and gals..) I have recently bought a 1986 KDX200 to tidy up as a bit of a run around I can take into the woods near tthe house I'm moving to. The bike is already registered but my question is, What are the lighting requirements for a full MOT. I have read through the forums and know it would be easy to get a daytime only MOT, but I reckon it shouldn't be that hard to get the full monty depending on the answers to these questionsr, - Does the headlight need to have a full AND dipped beam if it did not come as standard? If I need the dip, any suggestions for an aftermarket item that runs on 6v electrics? - If I go for a full MOT do I need indicators if the b…

Obviously there has been an oversight on the part of our resident admin for disallowing posts from exhisting members in the NEW area! I believe all us old farts should properly introduce ourselves as well! Only ONE catch! All posts must begin with : Hello, my name is X, and I am a Trials Junkie. I am also a W--k-r over trials videos and I have a problem! I make all the meetings and always introduce myself while offering a Stout(or reasonable faxcimilie) or some other friendly gesture! And BTW, I believe that ANYTHING that is not the proper brand scuks! Lets hear from the unruly lot!

Can any of the experts help me to get the correct air pressure in my air forks? I find that they are very hard to check as the mere action of sticking my pressure gauge on to the valves usually lets all the air out, i know very little air is needed to produce pressure in the forks, but there must be a foolproof way to do this surely???? cheers, S.M.

A few people have mailed me asking about the pegs I bought on ebay a while ago, from a bloke called Steve Butler (can't remember exactly where from - I know Yorkshire somewhere). Anyway, he called me the other day asking for a link off our site, for a little website he has up and running now Trialcast Here for anyone that is interested. I'm pretty damned happy with my pegs so far. My weight has been battering them for a few months now with no ill effects, and they got a right good bashing on Sunday, which actually made me think of this (shut it Webmonkey - my fuel was off OK ) For those that know me, you'll know they've had a pretty good test I like to give praise…

I'm taking a trip over to Fishguard next week and wondered if there's anything local happening on the trials scene. I've been threatened with certain death from my other half about taking my bike so it will be in the watching capacity only. Cheers.
