Thought I would take an oppertunity to post up one of the club flyers, just for your interist. Probably different to yours! HERE Yes, the morning riders may be called to observe for the afternoon, and vice-versa! Can make a good long day! However, we do not have to rely upon outside observers!

I was wondering if anyone would like to share some info about any past Time and Observation trials held in the North West Centre, as Im trying to write an article for the upcoming Bolton Mcc Time and Observation Trial, I know they where run as far back as the Lancashire Grand National in the 1930s and probably stopped being held on Red Rose soil with the Rochdale Club at Rooley Moor in the 80s (Maybe). Any relevant info would be superb!!

Is anyone riding at either Shatterford or button oak tomorrow? I've been informed that Shatterford is too slippery to ride after its rained. I'm not sure what the conditions will be like as we've had some heavy showers over the past couple of days. Also I don't know what the access at Shatterford is like, my dad wants to come and watch (being a trials rider himself) but he is on crutches with a broken leg. I like riding button oak but I'm concerned that he won't be able to get down the slope from the road. If anyone has any advice I would be extremely grateful.

I've been asked to Publicise that the last in Ripon's Saturday evening series has moved venue to Mill House Farm Winksley. The Small Wheels will be at 2:00pm and the Main Trial starts at 3:30pm still on the 20th September. Andy if you could put this on the front page it would be appreciated. The Original Fellbeck venue is still unuseable due to the parking area being waterlogged.

I spotted a few togs about over the weekend...anyone know who they were and where we can see any of the photos?? Brilliant weekend put on by the club. The Saturday route was a brilliant run over the hills. I have never ridden those sections before and really enjoyed it. Shame about the amount of water about but it cant be helped. Thanks again to the organisers. Gaz
