Due to defra rules the lyn national was cancelled at the end of may. We are pleased to tell you that it has now been rescheduled to run on the 28th of august, if you rode last year you will get regs sent, but if you would like a ride please ring 01598752640, its bank hoilday weekend so if you fancy comming down to north devon nows your chance

Anyone off to the Knut this weekend. I think im right in saying its the last British Championship of the year. It looks like its going to be a wet one!

I just want to say a huge thanks to Steve, Dave and Alex for all their help and encouragement at the Trials School this weekend. Despite being a complete beginner amongst a rather experienced group, I was well looked after and my riding improved massively over the two days. Steve has had lots of recommendations here before, but I want to add another one: Everyone should go on one of his courses if they possibly can. Going as a beginner means that you learn the right way of doing things before the bad habits get too ingrained, but more advanced riders clearly get a lot out of it too. I would be surprised if there's anyone here who wouldn't come away having learned some…

Dunno if anyones interested, I can cut (by computer & CNC cutter) any size of letter & font together which could be applied if required onto a rear mudguard. Would do 2 identical sets for a tenner in case a mudguard should get broken...... I think everyone sort of missed the point, the original idea was for everyone to pick a rider and say why thay though that thay could be a future world champion but the topic sort of went in a different direction. So lets start again, pick a rider a fight his case, come on who gon'a win that world title for GB, and why.

Have just acquired a rare aprilia 50 trials of 1981 vintage..... (similar to a fantic 50). It's got the obligatory minarelli motor but the carburations a bit, erm, fluffy! -runs all nice at tick over, ok on full throttle but not so good on the rest. Carb doesn't have a pilot jet, just a main and an emulsion tube. Anybody got a carb of japanese origin (approx 15mm) they would care to pass on for a good price......? Andy.
