Hi Guys I have C15 distributor engine .Is BSA C15 kickstart spindle/Quadrant interchangeable with Tiger cub T20.. I am missing kickstart at the moment. I have some friends who might have T20 kickstart I was googling around found the below ebay item .. 111578488882 ,( BSA Triumph 57-1279 40-3022 75-3121 C15 T20 Kickstart Quadrant NOS ) they seem to be interchangeable , please advise. Hello Just bought a BSA C15 as a lad and Dad project. Its 95% complete but a few bits are missing so looking for top tips for second hand bits. The one concern I have is the points assembly is missing, its side points and I thought of fitting electronic ignition but having looked at the cost its just way out of my budget, so what would I need and how would I buy the bits? Best manual to buy? Any help or top tips are much appreciated

Well... good start to the year for this series... NOT! Just seen ACU have published "2016 Standing Regulations" for the series on their website (notified by their email too) and then open it up to see it is a copy of the 2015 regs. So, you ask, what is wrong with that? Answer - it is not what the Nene Valley and Colchester Castle clubs appear to have been told about. Nene have three champ classes (as they were instructed) of o40, O50 & O60 + a.n.other non-champ class. Meanwhile, Colchester are running 6 classes inc. Pre65, T/Shock, O40, O50 & O60 plus non-champ. When surfing the web and reading some of the posts in this forum, there seems to be a tendency for contributers to return to the thorny issue of machine eligibility for "classic" and/or "pre 65" trials. Hi All, A friend of mine owns a 1958 tiger cub converted for Trials and my question is how important is it that the wheels are central to the frame and wheels in line as to centre? There is very little clearance for the chain as regards the rear tyre. He is a little obsessed to get the wheels central and in line and has started to cut and weld (bodge)the frame. I think he is slowly destroying the bike. The swingarm has been widened a long time ago and the engine was over in the frame as far as it would practically go but the wheel rim was off centre so as to clear the chain. I suspect they mostly all suffer this problem.Is there A way to get this right without cutting and…

Does anyone here on TC know anything of the Moon Trophy Trial which I believe was held in the Staffordshire/Derbyshire area in the 1960s. Which club ran this event in what years and who rode in it?

The existing format of running the Pre 65 and Twin Shock Championships in tandem with modern bikes, has not been as successfull as I'm sure everyone would have hoped. Is it time for a new approach ? Maybe a stand alone Championship catering predominantly for them, run along similar line to the very successful Kia Championship. (We would have to be careful not to clash to maximise the entry.) The problem with the existing format, as I interpretat it, is too many potential riders have to make a choice between championships, and also it is very difficult to lay out suitable multi route sections. Hi Guy's. I am fuming. Another blow to the Super Cub Trials Projects. Behind the scenes some of us in this country UK. Have come up with the idea to build a cheaper to produce home build Classic styled trials Machine. But there seems to be total dislike in what we set out to achieve by the whole of the trials organising committees across the land, and even the motorcycling authorities. Why? Is there a commercial interest somewhere that I don’t know about? That is backing a campaign against what we were setting out to do? Hi, I would like kindly to ask an advise. I have VM22 round slide carburettor in my garage. It is bolt on type.I wonder if somebody has an experience in using Mikuni VM 22 round slide bolt on carburettor in B40 trial version engine. My engine has compression rate around 6:1 or a little bid less and one inch long inlet spacer. I am trying to find the proper jetting for this Mikuni VM22 carburettor for using that in my Bsa. Somerton Mcc ran the Gordon Francis Trial today at Binnegar Quarry. The day could not have been more perfect, firstly 10 excellent classic style sections, exceptionally well laid out, once the mist lifted glorious sunny weather, and a good turn out, all the usual faces and plenty of banter and lastly a brief presentation to the eventual winner Barry Barthorpe who piloted his Ariel to a solid victory dropping only 2 marks to lift the trophy for a 2nd time. well done to Somerton club for laying out 3 routes to ensure all abilities had a challenging but safe day. if Carlsberg ran trials...............................
