Good Afternoon, I’ve been advised elsewhere on here that fitting a larger clutch slave cylinder to my Rev3 250 would help with the ‘light switch’ on/off clutch. I’ve done a quick look around the web and come up with nowt, can anyone advise where I might find such a thing? Or what specifically I looking for? Thanks.

  2. My bike would not start (after previously starting easily and running fine) and I've spent many hours trying to figure out why. It had a spark but it was weak! Section 3.10.1 "Testing the Ignition Stator" in the official Beta Workshop Manual says: The stator winding must be inspected while the temperature of the component is ap- proximately 20 °C. The inspection may also be performed with the generator coupled to the engine. Disconnect the 12-way black connector between the generator and CDI and with the use of a multimeter, verify that the resi- stances read between the terminals shown below fall within the prescribed range: bla…

Hi all, just taken the carb apart for the first time on my 2010 Evo 4T. Couple of questions. 1. this small part fell out from somewhere, however I no idea where! Any ideas? 2. Pages on this forum talk about the correct tuning of this carb. The jet sizes and mixture screw are now setup. However they also talk about a spacer and needle position. The needle position is supposed to go from 2deg to 3rd and the spacer is to be removed. Anyone know how to set the needle position and spacer? I don’t know what these parts refer to…?

  4. Folks, Newish to trails - I had a 2012 Beta 2T for 12/18 months and got on ok with it but sold it due to working abroad. I was going to try and pick another up but missed out. There is a locally sourced 2018 Factory Evo 300 2T available but I am wondering how wild they are. I am not in a position to have a test ride and nor do I know anyone in the trials community that I could blag a ride on one from. It has an aftermarket head on to alter the compression (blue anodised SR3 - you may know what that means) to smooth out the bottom end power delivery and I could put a slow action throttle on for the time being. I have been riding for 25yrs+ ; road, t…

I need to jet my carb for sea level. This is what's in it. Pilot 35, Needle 3, Main 145. I have a 45 pilot but not sure which main to use and don't want to buy six of them to tryout. Anyone willing to share their jetting specs for sea level? Thanks!

I've got a 2020 EVO 300 with about 200 hours on it, always had an inline fuel filter and air filter cleaned and oiled frequently. Recently I started having an issue with it getting an erratic idle. It seemed like the idle would rise after a long hard climb (say 500m to 1km). It would also rise on long descents. Performance otherwise was just fine, nice crisp response over the whole throttle/rev range. I removed the carb and thoroughly cleaned (including removing the jet tower) and blew out all orifices, checked vents, checked float height and needle sealing. Also checked that fuel is not overflowing when the front is raised (lifted wheel ever higher until it ove…

Hi Guys and Gals, Can anyone tell me what the real world riding difference is between a 200 and a 250 Rev 3? I’m new to the sport and searched for a 200 but none were about so I ended up with a 250. I have read that the 200’s, either Rev 3 or Evo are the ‘holy grail’ for the beginner Clubman rider with the ideal spread of power etc. Is there a big difference between the two? And if so are there sensible alterations I can do to the 250 to make it more like a 200 to ride? I ask this because at my standard I don’t need the power it has and in some ways it would be helpful to have less so I can master technique without worrying about the bike getting away from me so…

New to trials bikes and lhs kick start. Tried kicking over whilst on sidestand. Oh dear. Now sidestand bends under the bike when down (no good at all) and threatens to rub on back wheel when up. Couldn't 'straighten it out' in situ. Have taken it off and bracket looks 'bent/weak/dodgy. Not obvious to me what to do. Anyone with experience of this problem that can help? Thanks

  15. Hi there. Just upgraded my old 2012 Evo for a newer 2020 model. It already has a press type kill switch fitted. On my old 2012 bike I replaced the dreaded original frame mounted kill button / headlight switch unit with a lanyard type kill switch. I loved it and it saved me on many occasions when I parted company with the bike. However I constantly felt it was easier just to stall the bike rather than pull the lanyard every time I wanted to stop the engine in a non emergency setting. So on this bike I want to fit a lanyard kill switch as well as the standard kill button. I have taken a photo of the existing kill button wiring. I was planning on just cutting into the …

I have a hole in the right side of my airbox that needs to be fixed/sealed to prevent unfiltered air from getting into the intake. Can anyone tell me what the air box is made of and/or what would be a good product/material to adhere to it for a long term fix. THANKS!

Hi there. I bought a fork fork seal kit, retaining clip and dust seals for my 2012 Evo 125. They are for the 38mm paoili forks. Never fitted them as I don't need them yet. I'm selling the bike and buying a 2020 Evo 300. Will these seals fit the new bike or should I sell them with the old bike? I understand the 2020 has 38mm forks but not paoili.

  19. I did a search and came up empty handed. I noted that the 2t and 4t Evo's have different part numbers for the shift levers. Are there any aftermarket shift levers available? The OEM one had a fight with a rock.... Wardo

Evening all. I've just picked up a 2019 evo factory and the front light seems to be on all the time. I must be very blind because I can't seem to find any switch. The only one I can see is the mapping one on the head light. Thanks
