Hi All I know this title has been asked before but not quite what I have on my bike. the bike is fine on tickover & fine reving out of gear & fine just riding about but when I ride up long steep banks or put the engine under allot of strain it feels like something is rattling. its not all the time but enough for me to start worrying about it. Its feels like a stone being dragged under the front mudguard & ratting through & it sounds exactly the same, but its not. Any ideas please? thanks

I have a 2004 rev3 250cc, how much engine oil should I add or is there a certain level on the inspection window o should be aiming for? Also the other day I could hear a sparking/ arking sound, after looking I could see sparks coming from the top of the coil where there is a connector. Any ideas what is wrong and what I need to do to sort it?

So EM can’t make bikes fast enough. The world is going electric. Beta hasn’t released a major upgrade since 2013. Beta now makes kiddie electrics. So… any rumors on development on a full sized Beta electric?

Hi, I’m after purchasing a 95 beta techno 250 that could do with a bit of a cleanup. I trying to source rear mudguard and wiring diagram along with some other parts and looking for advice where best to look. It looks like the age don’t make it easy.

My lad's just noticed that his 2006 Rev03 coolant looks "milky" again (see photo), despite carrying out an in-depth overhaul of the clutch and casings. He was initially experiencing the typical clutch drag issues but after removing the clutch, we found that the inner clutch case had perforated. As a result, he's carried out the following: Replaced inner clutch case, associated bearings and seals (including the cover gasket and O-ring). Replaced water pump bearings and seals. Replaced clutch plates, basket and primary drive. Replaced oil and coolant. To be honest, we're both now at our wits end over this. He's owned the bike for nigh on a year and …

Hi there. I noticed a few black drops on my garage floor. Thought it was transmission oil at first but when I sniffed it I realised it was exhaust gunk. Thought it would be coming from where the front pipe meets the silencer but when I looked the underside of the silencer had a small covering of black gunk on it and some had dropped on the floor. I cleaned up the area and fired up the bike to see where it was coming from as I couldn't see a hole. Eventually a tiny drop formed and got bigger. The hole must be tiny and must be a pin hole. Can't see any crack. Ive just got the packing to repack the silencer and I was wondering how I could fix the hole without getting i…

Hi all, Wonder if any of you knowledgeable folk have any suggestions. Kiddo ride a Beta 80 Junior but not attempting larger object is smashing up/bending the chain tension bracket arm every weekend. Aside from getting onto a bigger bike and holding back from the big stuff, would any of you have any suggestions as to how to preserve it? Thanks in advance

Yes, I know - there's other trails on here about plugs, but not quite specific enough for me. Not sure my bike is running as it should - 1993 Beta Zero Gara 260. It didn't have a standard spec plug in it when I got it. I put the recommended standard one in - B8ES - thinking I was doing the right thing, but it feels like it's running hot and/or weak, and idle eventually fades when I'm getting stuck in up at Inch Perfect. Riding it when I first got it it did idle no problem with a Champion RN7YCC in it, and didn't feel like it was getting hot - fan rarely kicked in. But is that plug much different from the B8ES? The Champion has a far bigger electrode. Should I change …

I need a couple of spokes for the 18" rear wheel on my 1993 Beta Zero Gara. The wheel is an Akront. The Beta specialist I've been in touch with has sent me spokes, but they're too long. Anybody got any suggestions?

Dont laugh, I feel pretty stupid asking this. It's a newbie thing. I'm going to replace both sprockets and the chain on my 4t. Is there something special about a 4t chain? Looking on Ebay there are tons of Beta specific chains listed but they all say "not for use on 4t". Trials Superstore and The Trials Shop have chains, all are listed as 520 chains, but all have different numbers of links. What chain do I need? I'm using 10/42 sprockets.

When I removed my sump guard on my 2020 Evo 4T one of the rear fixing bolt helicoil inserts partly came out with the bolt. This has been impossible to refit correctly and resulted in damaging any bolt that I use to refit the guard. I have removed the old helicoil but I’m a bit weary to fit a replacement I have as it looks like it might use a different thread to secure the helicoil in the frame. Anyone else had this problem and did they find a make of helicoil that fitted straight into the original threaded hole without retapping?

Hi guys. Considering getting my Daughter a big wheel beta 80, from her OSET 24. There is very little info online I could see? I will probably purchase a new bike as I think we will keep it a while. Are there any common faults/mods? Or are they good to go out of the box? Almost everyone seems to fit Ohlins shocks we have seen out and about, and a few with jitsie wheels also. She's at a decent level of riding, prob mid-low end of a clubman level. Thanks

Hi all, I need to change my fork oil and seals on a 2017 Factory. I was looking at the right hand fork and realised its not the standard square bolt for cap fitting. Does anyone know the proper way to remove the fork cap on this? You can see what I mean in the picture. Thanks!

My 1993 Beta is now getting nicely sorted after fitting a new CDI and stator. Mixture can still be a bit tricky to get right, though, sometimes requiring a little tweak after a couple of hours non-stop. Somebody suggested that it might not be running quite right because there's no packing in the silencer, silencer being subjective because it's definitely not silencing much. Any observations, anybody?

Hi everyone, nice forum So I am completely new to trails bikes... The beta techno in particular. The one I bought is not running at the moment. I have restored a bunch of old bikes(CBX.cb750 etc) but never a 2 stroke. I used to have a couple of 2 stroke motocross bikes so am hoping I can find my way with this one. The bike has been standing for about a year. So some probably silly questions...(and I am searching the forum for answers) Clutch fluid... Is this normal brake fluid?Brakes also normal brake fluid? I bled the front with brake fluid and it's pretty good... I am having trouble with the clutch ... A bike shop said nope..the clutc…
