In the attached photograph of a Beta, being ridden by a works rider, there is an interesting object in the intake area. Could it be a fuel injection system?

I have a Beta 200 EVO that needs a new chain, but it’s 101 links with a half link. I can’t find one anywhere, apart from Beta uk, but the chain is £80 plus postage. Can anyone suggest a supplier or will I need to buy a chain plus half link and rivet it to the chain?

Can someone please tell me where I can find a full rear silencer protector/cover to fit a 2013 Beta Evo 250 4T? I have checked the Trials Store, Trials Superstore and RYP. They seem to be an endangered species. Or, will a silencer protector for a 09-14 Evo 2T fit my 4T?

In hopes someone may know. I am looking to order a set of Renthal 673 bars for my '21 evo 300. Has anyone gone from stock to these? Looking to get maybe 1/2 in rise. Not excited about changing geometry but, I have wrist and back problems going back to ama wera and afm roadracing days. Back is big challenge as i have bone to bone and various other issues. Well enough of that... I was hoping to find the stock dimensions on line of the OEM bars but unable and i am not near the bike for a few days. Thanks in advance if anyone can help

Hello, I broke the hub on my beta last week. The 4 mounting points for the sproket broke off. Anyone else had these issues? I bought it of a mate in the UK and used it not that much. I ride the level under expert in Belgium club trials. UK importer will put a new hub in my wheel so no complaints there ! Is there anything i could do to make sure it doesnt happen again ? Hi everyone, im wondering if anyone has any information on the differences between the techno and evo. I've reverted to using a evo manual to rebuild my 98 techno engine due to the case and internal similarities. Are the cranks the same for the evo 250 ? As I'm struggling to source a techno crank rebuild kit, and hoped maybe the evo kit will fit,?

Hi there, I have an issue with the fan on a 2016 Beta Evo 250cc Factory, The fan is running intermittently & when it runs the rear light goes on & when it stops the light goes off - Strange! The fan is not running as it should so the bike would run very hot if I was using it. I will not use until I resolve the issue. Anybody experience this before? & have any suggestion to help me on my way. Thanks Stuart

Hello! I read a lot about the problem and still confused if it is considered 'normal' or in very bad shape. The rattle is every stroke, but when I listen to video of any trials bike I can hear that same sound. (I never had a trial near been close to one, it's very niche sort of bike over here) The engine has 160 psi of compression and start first crank every time. Engine sound I recorded, I think it sound just a bit worse in video than on real life. Thanks!

I am interested in opinions regarding the so-called clutch rattle that occurs when the engine is running, but which lessens when the clutch lever is pulled in. My view is that the noise does not come from the clutch at all, despite the commonly used name, because the noise is at its loudest when the clutch is engaged and the clutch plates are locked together. I suspect that the noise comes either from chatter in the primary drive gears or chatter in the gearbox; probably the latter as the gears in the gearbox should be stationary when the clutch lever is pulled in. It’s not just a Beta issue, as all the various brands that I have ridden have made the same noise.

Hello all I'm after some knowledge. I am thinking of replacing the rear shock on my 2015 factory. I've been told I can't fit a newer factory shock as it won't fit is this right? Many thanks

Hello. New to the forum and would be grateful of some advice. I've had a beta techno techno 250 1995 for just over a year and it can be very tempremental. If I run her regularly she's fine but if left she gets the hump and won't start . I've checked the spark which seems fine, and after several kicks the plug is wet so it would appear to be getting fuel. Eventually she fires into life and once up and running it's absolutelty fine. starts first kick. Next day it's back to the start again. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be eternally grateful coz my left leg is aching and my foot hurts from kicking it over so much. I have tried a few different plugs but not found on…

Hi guys, I have recently purchased a cheapish beta Rev 3 with a botched ignition system incorporating some bits from another bike. The bike is in good condition and I have resolved all other issues with the bike. To sort the ignition, and get back to original I would need, cdi unit, stator ( type with 2 opposing trigger coils) and coil with bracket. now this is going to be expensive, even with used eBay bits. So I am thinking about retro fitting an alternative ignition system. I have found that the beta techno (Ducati energia 6 pole stator ) system, seems to be identical to the modern lambretta 12v system which is financial viable. Does anyone know if it’s possibl…

My 2012 beta Evo 125 seems to idle a bit erratically at times. Filter is regularly cleaned, carb recently cleaned, plug is new, jitsie idle adjuster fitted, air screw 2 turns out. Basically when cold it idles fast which I would expect then after it warms up idles well and appropriately. Then all of a sudden it starts idling a bit faster then after a bit of a ride the idle goes very slow to the point it dies. I often find it stalls and I'm convinced it has a bit of a bog from closed throttle to open. Could this be the idle jet ? It then seems to change from idling perfectly, to idling fast or dieing. The plug br7es is new and I often find my plug is carbonised but not oily…

I've just picked up a 2020 Evo 300 to replace my 2017 Beta 300. Generally feels pretty much the same (but shinier!) with the notable exception of starting. The new bike is vastly easier to kick over. On the '17 I had to get right up over the starter and give a really solid kick to spin it over consistently. Any sort of half hearted stab and it would usually laugh at me. On the '20 I can give the most mediocre stab on the lever and it spins right over. I'm left wondering if they changed the starter ratios or if the engine has lost compression.
