Does anybody have a spare bullet shaped piece that fits in the top of the damper rod on the RH fork leg that makes contact with the adjuster screw (Paioli 38mm). Just done the fork seals and noticed it wasn't in the top of the hollow rod.pictures and dimensions would be great also to allow me to turn one down.

Has anyone managed to source a fan motor for an evo. My 18 evo fan has virtually seized, bike overheated so I did all the usual checks - stat, wiring, etc and bottom line is the motor is toast but I obviously don't need the whole thing ie fan, housing etc I just need a new motor so £150 + seems a tad excessive. I've done a bit of digging and vertigo gas gas have a very "similar" and cheaper unit but I'm aware they may be a different spec. Just don't realy want spend £150 for something that is maybe available for a lot less just because it's not got "beta" links Cheers Chris

Hi, New here. Tech question. I broke the piece holding my clutch lever in on the weekend, so replacement needed (currently held in place with zip ties and electricians tape LOL) I can't seem to find any info on the web so I am either searching for the wrong thing or it's just a standard sizing in this sport (coming from mountain biking where every brand has a different "standard" so not a lot of cross compatibility) . But I want to make sure that the replacement will just "plug and play". is there any banjo sizing compatibility that I should be aware of? From what I can tell the Beta's come with the Grimeca clutch master, but can't find info on the hose connec…

Got a beta evo 300 16 model, fan is only working intermittently, I’ve overrided the thermostat, wiggling the wires seems to affect the fan speed, also the headlight wire and connector block is getting very hot

I pulled this bike apart and can find the pics I took of the dissassembly. Got everything placed except the CDI box. There is a metal bar with a slight bend in it that goes underneith a rubber mount, but I can't figure out where it mounts to the frame. It should be as easy as taking the top plastic cover off from the fuel fill port to the seat and snapping a few pics. I think it mounts either below the rear brake reservior or closer to the rear shock where the frame narrows. Thanks in advance.

Hi all. Little background to my problem first.Last year I did a trials tester day at Stuart Day’s and loved it,so much so that I bought one of his old bikes. My thinking behind this was to totally strip it down and teach myself how to put together a bike back together from scratch. Hands up,stupid idea as I’m well in over my skill set.The up side to this silly idea is I now have the knowledge to tackle jobs I wouldn’t have considered before, the downside is I have a bike in a bazillion bits that I’m struggling to reassemble. Just got to reassembling the forks(which I completely stripped down, powder coated and had rechromed )and can’t find any step by step in…

I'm new to owning a Beta, in fact this is my first Trials bike (at 58) so any help would be appreciated. I recently bought a (as advertised) 2003 270 Rev 3, a while after getting it back I checked out the frame number and it had it as a 2000. Now yesterday while my Mrs was cooking the turkey I started to take it to bits as I want to give it a full refurb. Now after taking off the rear mud guard I see what appears to be the newer 2003 airbox which might explain why the exhaust can has a homemade extension so the bracket can attach to the subframe. Ay help would be great.

Hi I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice. I've got a Beta 250 rev 3 2007 I believe, anyway it usually starts first kick but today when i was about to load it up to go out i thought i'd give it a go starting it but I just couldn't get her started. I had her out last weekend and from freezing cold started first kick, no problems at all, but then i had to cancel going out and put her back into the shed on the side stand while i ran back in the house and yup left the fuel and choke left on, went back in few hours later to chain her up and park her back in her normal spot and noticed that it had dumped all it's fuel tank on the deck (****) I imagine …

Apparently the Beta Evo 200 MY2021 Doesn't exist ! Well it does, because I've just purchased one. I've seen it with my own two eyes. But it's not listed on the beta website nor is it mentioned in the manual. So I have 2 questions......... 1. Why do they not list the bike on the website or manual? 2. Does it have the same specifications and as the 250?....ie Weight, Gear ratios, Carb settings etc etc or are things closer to the 125 ? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Brand new to the trials world and looking forward to getting out on my "New to me" 2016 Beta Evo 250. So just two things, probably mentioned loads here already but really would like some reassurance on Petrol/Oil Ratio, some say this, some say that. Just don't want to wreck it before I start. So 1 litre of Petrol with 20ml of Oil? that be fine or maybe 25ml? Just not sure. Also I noticed that the rear brake light didn't come on, opened up the cover and to my surprise no bulb, not even the housing that would hold it or wiring... Is that right for this bike? Thanks, Looking forward to asking more dumb questions as I venture into the world of 2 Strok…

Hi I’ve recently had a 2020 Evo Factory 4T and I’m looking to get some fork guards. Can anyone recommend a guard make and can someone tell me what make are the actual forks -Tech,Paioli ?I have paioli guards on another older Beta but they offer no protection to the spindle clamp part of leg on new Evo 4T. One other thing does anyone know of a company that can do Graphics for this bike rather than buying genuine. Many Thanks John.

Hey folks.. just doing a water pump seal and noticed behind the water pump a deeper hole with some sort of irregular shaped foil hole behind it. I'm chasing a problem with coolant in the oil, and what seems like an air leak. The foil is thin... and not circular, and appears to connect the water pump directly to the crank case. I'm assuming this is a problem! Can I just plug this hole? Its odd that it is not co-planar with the crankcase gasket. Circled it in the picture.

Can somebody please help, somebody has offered me a ''Dougie Lampkin replica Beta 250'' 2002/3, is this a problem. I'm not sure as to when doug started with montys but I'm half sure it was before, during and after this..... I haven't seen the bike yet, but am looking forward to seeing something bizarre... It was a friend of a friend who told me about the bike - I guess its chinese whispers, bike will be a rev 3 or montesa 315 or maybe some kind of high powered mutant - who knows... Please help...

I've finally got round to removing the clutch on my lad's bike prior to replacing the perforated clutch case. Before I do, can anybody enlighten me on removing the retaining clip shown on the attached photos? Is it a case of just bending the 2 lugs back prior to using a 22mm socket? If that's the case, I assume a new clip will need fitting afterwards. Are there any tips on re-installing this before I mess anything up? Also, I can't find a part number on the Beta website for this clip - does anybody know this and where I can find one in the UK? Many thanks in advance for any advice. Everybody's been a great help so far.

Hi guys, After much deliberation, I managed to purchase a new cylinder kit from molinari in Italy.. on looking to fit, I have found that the piston is a type B of 72.451. I've measured the cylinder and get 72.48/9. On working the tolerance , I get near 0.030mm ... which is around 1 thou.. Will this seize ?
