Hey. I got a Beta Rev3 from around 2002-2003- with a 250 ore 270 cc engine. It runs very well at idle , but when I speed, it begins to shoot in the exhaust and go bad . What could this be? I have new spark plug , fresh gasoline . cleaned the carb . Im not sure if the pilot jet is correct adjusted. I did try first with 1 round, then 1,5, then 2 and then 2,5 and then 3 turns, but nothing helped. Any tips? Second thing, Im not sure how old this bike is, i got a frame number x ZD3B9000Y0002660 x Anyone who can help me translate that frame number? On the engine side its written 352C/1 0 1/1. Ok probably an odd question but… There’s three offset positions for the factory bar clamps. Mine have been set in the middle but I’m finding my weight is getting too far forward. Rolling the stock bars forward helps (yes it’s counter intuitive) but the sweep of the bars puts my wrists in a slightly strained position. Do any of you use the forward offset position and if so how do you like it?

I have a 2016 Beta 250cc Evo Factory. Intermittent fault with the fan; The fans comes on as it should but when you rev the bike it stops! you need to push by hand to restart the fan, sometimes it will come on by itself. I have bypassed the thermostat but this does not make any difference the fan still stops when revved! Does anybody have any ideas what the issue is could it be? The wiring looks good I cannot see anything loose.

What USD $ figure would you put on this? 300km showing on the fork mounted odo Missing headlight/plate non-original (?) exhaust silencer? Seller says in the ad "Not currently running but I know it will run. Recently had the carb cleaned and got it to start and run but that was last summer so it probably needs to be done again." Seller also says "100% needs a new fuel shutoff switch and an oil change"

hi all, i have a 2019 beta evo that id like to repack the silencer on but it looks like you need a special tool to undo the screws at the end with, looks like a star drive but with a pin in the middle, could any tell me where i can get 1 from

Hi I've seen a picture of rev 3 timing set up on here, it says 7.5mm from the edge of the bolt to the end of the slot. Is this the same for stators with 4 coils not earlier six coil setups? http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/uploads/post-1592-1140382977.jpg Rich

Hi I have seen people talk about the kick start mod for this bike. can anyone tell me what this is, and photos, or the before and after if available please? i want to check if mine has had this done, and if not what i should be wary of?

My vent hose from my tank seems to leak really often. Doing any riding it’s been pouring over my bike. I’ve tried routing it different ways to stop it with no luck. Is something broken?

I posted this in the General Forum, but thought I might link it in here as it is also specific to Beta. I had a complete failure of a recently installed All-Balls linkage kit in my Evo. Originally I thought it was due to poor quality bearings however I'm now left wondering if installation tools and technique wasn't at least partly to blame.

1. I've noticed that my 2016 EVO 300 4T burps coolant, to the point I'm having to add coolant almost every ride. I'll go through the circuit closely to make sure it's coming out of the cap overflow line, but a quick look seems to indicate that's where it's coming from. I rejetted the bike for my altitude, and it seems to run very well. The cooling fan seems to operate normally (comes on frequently, but doesn't run all of the time). Do any others of you experience anything similar? 2. I've read where some Betas seem to have eaten the water pump impellers. Hi, I've spent the last few weeks restoring an old beta Tr32. I’ve got the bike going but there’s a couple of issues so I’m looking for some advice. The main issue is that the clutch will not engage/disengage very well. There seems to be no order in which the gears shift and It’s very hard to find nutral. Somehow you can change gear without pulling the clutch lever and sometimes I cannot get the bike out of gear once it’s going! the other major issue is that sometimes the throttle seems to get stuck and the bike revs like crazy. any advice on what may be causing these issues would be much appreciated.

I'm wondering if the problem a lot of guys are having with their Evo side stands is that they don't want to stay down once put down, or that the bike easily rolls off the side stand?. This is an easy fix. Just get to the side stand pivot bolt under the bike, and remove the allen head screw from the pivot bolt head. That allen head screw catches on the spring and makes the side stand flip up as soon as any weight is taken off the bike and also makes it hard to put down with just your boot. Removing the allen screw will allow you to put it down with your boot and it'll stay down till you put it up.

I am working on a Beta REV 80 for my buddy and am having some issues I would love insight on. The first thing that I am struggling with is the clutch master cylinder, no amount of bleeding creates any pressure in the slave cylinder so the clutch never disengages. I am assuming I need a new clutch master cylinder but can't find a factory one so my question is will a generic one work? Has anyone else had to go with a generic one? I guess the slave cylinder could be the issue but the master doesn't do anything when pumped so that's why I am starting there. Ok, I’m sure someone has already asked and I can’t find a way to find to find without trawling through 300 of q & a’s. Please: how much oil in each leg and grade? Are they adjustable for spring and rebound?? Cheers
