Well, me idiot forgot to connect the rectifier after I installed the stock exhaust (me old Termi needs some carbon fibre repair). Basically I rode 2-3 hours without cooling and voltage control! ECU should be fryed (overload), engine should be seized (from excessive heat), but NO, the 2013 very-high compression headed OSSA TR280i thing kept going and going without blinking! I thought it's running a bit strange, and after a very hard core section I noticed vapour fog coming from below the engine (coolant vent) and noticed there's no fan action. I've had a bit of a disaster this afternoon. Putting the finishing touches to my fresh OSSA MAR restoration and as I was adjusting the front brake cable the threaded post snapped off on one side. So can any wise folks tell me what other models used the same brake plate as I can't find anything on eBay. Thanks

Does any one know where i can get a new clutch in the uk every where seams to have sold out the clutch is slipping quite bad and i need a new one for Wednesday i know its a big ask cheers

Can anyone advise where I could get one of the small nuts that secure the top headrace bearing on the OSSA Mar? From what I can see it looks like an M20x1mm or 25tpi. Thanks

Anyone know what TPS the OSSA uses? It is only sold with throttle body- might be nice to have another for spare and testing. Mark

I'm thinking of buying a 300 factory its listed as a 2014 but after a bit of reading am sure its a 2013 by the forks and calipers. Can you tell by the frame numbers? Anything I need to check apart from the usual things to look for on a trials bike? Will the 2013 bike have the easy start kit fitted? Is the data cable, software and maps readily available at a reasonable price? I currently have a 2004 Beta rev3 and have only been riding for fun just over a year. If I find the 300 a bit much can it be easily tamed with a slow throttle and flywheel weight? Thanks in advance.

hello i have a oil leak on my ossa TR77 its comming from the crank center gasket near the sump plug its only a slow leak is there any way i can stop it with out splitting the engine? cheers chris.

Hi I would like to put a rear wheel in my mar that has the brake drum the same side as the sprocket, and do away with the cable and have the benifit of a thicker axle,, can anyhbody point me in the right direction as to what wheel hub to use. Many thanks

I purchased my bike last year from a company that deals in 2nd hand trials bike , and have done about 6 trials in it so far. Following returning from a trial I put the bike in the garage. When I next saw the bike I noticed a small pool of oil. I left a tank under it to catch the drops and drain the rest. In total I caught about 200ml of oil plus what ever went on the floor. So there was probably only 250ml Max in it after the trial. On investigation I found a crack in the sump from the oil plug hole to the mating face of the crank case. As a temporary measure I have covered the crack with 'plastic metal' to allow me to fill it up. Once I fires the bike up it initiall…

Well, my wife had a dash on me TRi yesterday and boom, it suddenly locked up. Thankfully while working on low RPMs. Turned out one of the 5 gearbox fixing bolts vibrated loose and did this: The little fecker who's fault it all was is in the front in two bits. "Thankfully" it only damaged the crownwheel, if there were high-RPMs the damage could have been way more catastrophic or even engine career-ending: OSSA doesn't sell it separately, hence you should buy a complete new gearbox. Thankfully Joa has found me a s/h one that they can hopefully replace the clutch basket crownwheel with. Be sure to locktite those gearbox fixing bolts! Do not over…

Hello All am going to fit a rear sprocket convert kit to my ossa TR77 350 dose any 1 have any experience in fitting 1 please? It came with the big spacers with a bearing in it and the 4 bolts and a small spacer cheers bond.

My green baby is sick and has a lot of bearing noise. I believe the top end is fine the bike has a ton of power and not a ton of time on it. Assuming it's only the lower bearings can anyone help me out and tell me what parts are needed to swap out the crank bearings? Anything else I should do / buy when in there? Best place for parts? LewisSport is out they are at SSDT for 2 wks. Input appreciated.

Hi all I'm new to the forum (and Ossa's) and hope you can help. I'm restoring a TR77 that I got in pieces 15 years ago and am finally getting it together. The engine is stripped, the crank rebuilt, and the main bearings and other bearings in the casing seem easy enough to source, but I'm puzzled at the blind needle roller pictured below. Is this an open-at-both-ends bearing fitted up against a blocking end piece, or is it a one piece closed-at-one-end needle roller bearing? Also, does anyone know what number bearing it is so that I can buy one from somewhere? Is it easy to remove? Any other tips or comments you have would be much appreciated Thanks Adrian (P…

After almost 2 1/2 years rebuilding my '75 mar I'm almost nearing completion!! The spark plug in the bike is a Champion RN7YC and a NGK 6 ES came as a spare. What is the recommended (best) plug to put in? Now for the really stupid question.....how many gears should there be? I'm more used to jap and Brit bikes, well that's my excuse! Oh, and which way do they shift, 1st up or down? Cheers in advance.

Hi, I did have a list of all the sizes and serial numbers for the rear suspension bushes, also tensioner bush, now i cannot dig it out! Can anyone help with this please? Regards, Ian
