Do any of you Rev3 experts change the spring in your carb? I have a 02 200 which is about 3 times as heavy as the spring in my daughters 125 GG pro. Is it likely that someone has changed the spring or are they all like this?
If you change them where do I get one and what do I need?
cheers... was really just playing with the camera first time out of the box and didn't check settings or anything... now i know how to get better images i will do some other stuff after our next ride..
Also the first time i have used an editing program... just the basic windows one but i have ulead, windvd creator and adobe premier loaded on my pc so i shall progress as i suss out how to use them!!
I seem to remember a post about someone who uses self adhesive clear plastic to protect there frame , but i can't find it, does anyone know where i can get any of this in the uk, and more importantly does it work? cheers guys happy new year to you all.
It's only 3 bolts to remove the flywheel cover. Wash the bike, remove the cover and lean the bike over to the right to drain any water inside, start the bike and let it run until hot, kill the engine and spray the flywheel and cover with WD40, refit or leave it off until you next use the bike. Also cut a 'V' shape out of the bottom of the cover so that any water that goes in, comes straight back out again. Don't p*** about sealing the cover on, as it's easier to whip it off after each wash.
The leaky carb is still the same, JLI's will cure it for
A mate of mine lent me that one just before I did the 04 SSDT. There is a clip on there of the 'Devils Staircase' I think it's called. I was buzzing when I rode down it. I think it was just after Pipers Burn on the Friday.
I was sorely tempted to turn round and ride back up it but I was a tad short on time that day
The observation I'd make is simple, how often do you see Tiger practicing with the duffers? You simply do not see him making it a habit of training with weekend warriors. Why? Because their bad habits and attitude rub off onto him and it will destroy his game.
This contradicts what you said earlier. You stated that it would be great to have the likes of Doug and Raga ride some national trials so that the young up and coming riders could compare themselves to the mighty :madsanta:
Steve has gone for the 250! not suprising as I actually think that most higher cc bikes are far too much for the average rider. Not that I would put Steve in the 'Average' rider group, but it goes to show you that the 250 is more than good enough for him
