brilliant little bike you wont regret buying it. mines a 98 and i wouldnt change it for love nor money. oldest bike in our group of 6 and always the easiest to start. every one thats ridden it comments on how soft and manageable it is off the bottom yet it'll pull your arms off when it gets goin!
aw for fecks sake was wondering why they didnt answer the phone the last two days. guess i better get onto the credit card company to sort a refund. not sad just p****d that caroline told me all was well last week and took my money for an order thats probably not going to arrive.
well just to update you all i spoke to caroline today and she has put my mind at rest. turns out my order was taken last week buy a person who no longer works for them and was never passed on to the relevent person.... i'll let caroline announce what needs announcing but needless to say i'mnot worried.
i am covered but thats not the point! i'm worried because the lad on the phone last monday took my card details and shipping details and email contact details and not a word since no tracking number nothing!!! then when i ring i get the recorded message!!
seen that site alright got no response from emails cant raise them on the phone checked online but nothing gone off the c/card so going to give them till tommorow eve to reply then i'm going to stop payment.
pins on the floats should be facing each other in the middle of the bowl. the floats should slide up and down easily on the guides. the floats go in first then the arm should rest on the top of the pins on the floats.
erm they look awful like the diadora stone3! i think theres a thread on here somewhere that states they are made in the same factory but with different labels/badges
friend of mine bought some 3 weeks ago reckons he wouldnt have another pair for love nor money. he holed them after a very slow off that didnt leave a mark on his leg and the stitching came loose. i bought a pair of diadora stone3 the ones without the inner sock thing for the same sort of money, very comfy and took no breaking at all.
its done it since i bought it 3 months ago..... playing with the air screw improved it but not completely. am just riding thru/around it for the time being. its going to get looked at soon by an expert in trials bikes/2 strokes to see what he can do to it.
ok then my mate spoke to me last night and i mentioned that there was some wear on the slide and "polishing" on the needle he recommended getting a new needle and needle jet before we start fiddleing with it? would this stop my slightly hesitant/wooly feeling/misfire off the bottom?
well everything matches the standard settings, new iridium plug, new plug cap, H/T lead, fresh fuel at 80:1, carb cleaned (spotlessly) i even emptied and cleaned the tank and still the ******* misfires at the first 1/4 throttle.... kinda stuck now and really hoping its not the crank seals.
lads i have the early carb on my 315r and the manual i have is for the later type. question is, are the settings/needle heights/jets the same. i know the air screw is different but not sure on the rest. if anyone has the std set up jet no's etc for the early type could you post them as i want know if mine has been re-jetted. thanks vince
looked to be about 3mm difference in the length so i threw it in and off it went. no problems at all apart from it ran better as the old plug was shot. so you can get away with the "p" type plugs in a 315r! roll on next week when my iridium one arrives! thanks for the replies lads.
