Just found this one. I have removed the seats and tank. The tank has lots of rust inside. Is there any way to save it, maybe a coating or something? Anyway its a long term project, my goal is to use this one for comp and keep my other one, which is 100% stock and original, as a looker.

I was lucky to get to go, was with the USAF in Germany at the time. The wife and I drove over, had a great time.
Sorry nojive that all the photos I could find. Who are you? One of the riders I would guess.

I was lucky to be able to go the TDN that year. Came across the photos today, I had not id the people in them. But I know the Wickers were there and remeber Kip as one of the riders. 86 was a long time ago and a old mans memory is not so good. Had several people that were stationed in Germany that went over to help as support crews. Thats how we got to go. Had lots of fun.

More pic's from the book. I was evey fortunate to be able to go to the 83 Belgian round when I was stationed in Germany with the USAF. And the mud was something else. Never got quite use to pomfrits with mayo. (French fries for you yanks). Had a good time and the locals were wonderful.

The caption in the book said Ian, so who ever wrote them????

Martin, when I was a member of the AZ club (CAT) in the early 70's was it you and one other Montesa team members that came over and did a school for us? I know how impressed we were, the majority of us were very new to Trials.
Anyway I looked for a pic of you in the book, but could only find the NATC Champ results for 1974.
Sorry for the bad copy.
Team California was leading the way.
After I posted this I found some old snap shots for the school. Its was conducted in Tucson.

The photo caption indicated that it was taken at the 1983 Vic Brittain National. Hope that helps id the riders.

It is Colin with Ian Chamberlain in the chair. The photo on the right is not identified. Only two pages in the book for sidecars, but will post some more solo shots on "Bernie's Book"

Wow!! What a problem to have. In our state (New Mexico) we have one club, and some have to drive over 250 miles one way to ride, and then only once a month.
