I was on a 250 went to a 280 and its rather nippy sometimes feels asif its pulling away from you as the day gets on when your tiring abit , id go for the 250 nice and smooth and easier to control, im deffinatly off back when i change my bike.
Need to ring up Gas Gas or shirty for something but their site is down just wondered if anyone had the number handy as i cant find any paper work i have it on.
Id go for the 250 iv moved up from an 05 250 to an 07 280 this year and im deffinatly dropping back down to the 250 when i change my bike it seems like the 280 is always pulling away from you even with a slow action throttle on.
chavtastic? haha i think its physically impossible to make a trials bike look chavvy they always seem to look good what ever you do to them i suppose. Think iv got a few pics of modified bikes il have a dig abit later.
Maybe you should tell your mate to get his eyes tested because you can clearly see that it does say Gas Gas .. and what have you actually done to the logo?
You used to be able to get the whole vid off the internet somewhere but not sure where it is now iv got it on here but im not uploading it because that will just take the biscuit.
Best advise ever ... is to not listen to anyone else and go ride them yourself , all bikes will/can break just depends how good you treat them and look after them really.
not sure who won , but dougie cracked on , he was 1st back , cant remember who was 2nd , and dibs was 3rd in ... although depends what their score was..

Id go for the 08 are you really going to realise the difference if you have different swinging arms? and you can always get a different shock if you dont like it but think no one else has riden that bike if you get an 08.
yeah id deffinately get something smaller than the 290 its not about size of engine in trials you can still do the same basically on every bike if you have the ability , and the sherco 290 from my experiences is quite a handfull, also would be better if you could stretch abit more on money you might get something abit better
