  1. Well I cant say I am surprised, P E P's have been rife in the Eastern Centre for some time, things have got so bad that some riders blatanty consume P E P's with out caring if anyone notices. There are 2 riders in particular who have taken things to the extreme by actually entering trials as Team Pukka Pie Beta and Team Ginsters Beta ! They have even developed a way of riding by mastering a very dificult technique locally known as the Tubby Turn this is closely followed by the seams ripping around the back wheel area ! I say ban the cheats from our sport !
  2. Is there any point, my standard one lasted 2 years !

  5. Sounds to me that your a taker and not a giver........ You mention it's down to the clubs, I presume you are a member of a club, so maybe get involved with the organisation and you will see why a rule book is needed.
  6. My 06 exactly 12 months old had the stator go, reported the problem to Lampkins and they covered under warranty. Every year they say the Stator problem is fixed, watch out you lucky 2007's
  7. Advice on camera purchase please. Looking to buy a digital camera for general family usage and the inevitable trials pics. What can you chaps recommend ? Needs to be simple to operate and download, able to cope with speed of bikes plus lack of light and be tough enough to take to events. Dont need to be able to do movies. Budget approx
  8. Ok, if i tell you this you've got to promise not to tell anyone........ Go to Wickes DIY and by a six foot length of the shed guttering down tube in dark brown approx 2 inch in diameter. Cut it to the length of the fork leg and then cut a 3/4 inch strip out of it top to bottom. Cover it in carbon fibre look-a-like and hey presto. I've done it to mine and it works real well but sorry to say I hav'nt got the digi photos to prove it. The only down side is that it doesnt flare out to cover the fork seals. Thats it ive told you now, everyone will be doing it !!! Stormy
  9. Bought myself a new 06 Beta first new bike since a 240 Fantic and I'm as pleased as punch with it. But last Sunday took a tumble and scratched the frame high up in the petrol tank. Has anyone come up with a magic solution to make the alloy frame look pretty again ?? Stormy
  10. Something to test the twinshock fans I have a classic of British engineering the Beamish Suzuki (Yellow, tank black engine 1980) and find it a bit tall on the foot rest position. Does anyone have any experience of lowering the pegs, dimensions etc ? Thanks in advance
  11. Advice please Just noticed a slight fuel leak at the rear of the tank on my 250-03 pro, it could be where the seat unit has been rubbing or maybe on a weld. I was thinking of repairing with plastic metal but would welcome other suggestions / advice. Thanks Stormy
