    Have you tried cleaning out the full exaust system, it could be an excessive build up of oil through out the front and mid section.

    The best solution to that problem is send me your new tyre and i can send you my well worn come slick type tyre i have at no extra charge.

  5. If you want to weld a petrol tank the best way is to wash it out with washing up liquid then fill with water. If you want the perfect finish purge with argon and tig weld it but you do need a/c tig.

    Whilst your on this subject i am right in thinking that you can use a mixture of gear oil and dextron auto transmission oil, if so at what ratios. The reason i ask is that i get a lot of clutch drag. Cheers Mercury
  13. Dont have a number for wes themselves but colin appleyard deals with them, so maybe worth a try contacting him.
  14. Threads on most new bikes are metric course. If you measure the diameter of the threaded bit it will tell you the size of the bolt. I think the bolts to the mudguards are m5, i used stainless button heads no sharp edges to catch hope this helps. mercury

    HI all i'm putting new fork seals in this weekend on a beta rev 3,its a 2000 model the one with the usd forks. What ineed to know is how much oil per leg and also what weight oil to use. cheers
