Hi Patrik, I bought an Aprilia air cooled 280 in a box. Had some bits done and started to put it back together. In the box with the Gearbox bits, ther is a tensioner of some sort which I can't place. Nothing the like on the SWM 125 and 280's I've rebuilt so far. any ideas ? I can send a pic but I wanted a first thought. Wierd, I usually fathom things out but this has got me boggeled.

Oh to chain tensioners there are some very unique varaitions especially if the bikes are older and the owner a cheap guy.
Anyway I've got curious now looking forward to the photo. I have two creations too in the garage that I found on used bikes that have been engineered by someone that wanted to save money...

Hi Patrik, not a chain tensioner. It was in the box with all of the gearbox bits !
I don't see where it should go if at all ?
