but certainly not rs200 cylinder & fins
-
another online service
http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_select.asp
but anybody knows where to find microfiches for
tlr250, 200 and 125
or a printed version of the partslist(s) ?
(any pm on this would be welcome too...)

in another topic on this same forum you're allowed to discuss prices, manufacturers and shops selling shocks but in this topic you're not allowed to post a price of a swingarm? strange rules in the advertising world
-
i once did an engine swap: put a xl250 in a Beta 250gs chassis
due to de weight of the (heavy) 4stroke engine
the bike lost his balance - front tended to dive on jumps
maybe different with trials frame, but something to keep in mind
-
-
why is the price such a big secret every time one of you wants to sell something?

maybe he got offers beside ebay
-
no need to get exited, i was trying to be helpfull if anybody here should be interested to buy. i didn't say it is not a very nice example.
-
shocks are not original &
end section of the muffler is cut off
another (minor) detail: wing decals should be yellow ones
-
TFT, possible one of these?

jean D'HOLlander had a honDA shop in belgium. he was mainly involved in endurance races, but he did some tuning on lejeune and hattori's bikes

hattori's bike has been stored in the dholda shop until it's restoration last year, but not to be used in trials again, ...they said
-
T F Tim, RS-time -till'83, was before HRC existed, the bikes were made at the Racig Service Center Corporation
-
totalsh..., never found a reliable twin shock that all you had to do was jump on and ride each week. but in a way, you're right, in a year you'll probably find yourself missing trials whilst searching bits you wont find this time, but hey, think of the money you'll be saving
-
any info available on this one?
-
1 example: i asked the seller of those VF mudguards his price last week,
he sells them for 150
-
[by the way, I never treat my motorcycles as "assets" or money, I just like motorcycles! ]
i agree(d) on that, but fact is that nowadays you have to pass the people that think in those terms, and pay silly prices if you need parts.
-
alan,
it's an old little toy bike,
there are limits to it's value,
never gonna be worth double,
even when it's rare
-
-
i measured the showa's on mine: 400mm on the 250 and 390mm on the 200 (?)
there are some differences in the frames, but a few years ago, i bought
a 200 frame with a 250 engine and i think there were no mods on the frame
if you're thinking on that ebay tlr now: i'ts a 250
(you can see the bigger fins in the right picture)

i have a Bertolani black rear, which is nice because it has the wide curve,
it's strong, and 13cm wide, +/- like the original
Falk has nearly the same model, but not so strong
-
i don't know their origin, but i have a front one like this,
and it is a nice substitute for the unobtainable originals
(don't know the rear one)
