    Tdn Shirts

Yes it is that time again. Time for me to beg for everyone to buy a shirt. This year should be less begging. That is because these shirts are HOT. This year Cody is on the shirt. It is a high detail silk screen shirt. The shirts are Hanes and pre shrunk. The price is $20 for one or $35 for two shirts. If you send a check to the address below. Make the check out to USA-TDN. Every shirt that I send out I will donate the shiping cost. That means an extra $3 bucks directly to the team. Sizes are XL, L, M and adult small. Please specify what you want. This year the TDN is in Italy on Sept 19th and 20th. Not only do we have to send the Mens Team but there is also a Womens Team. All of these young riders typically end up spending their own money for the trip. Lets try to make it a little easier on them and have everyone buy a shirt. All of the money made from the shirts goes directly to the team This year we would also like clubs to purchase shirts and sell them for us. This will help us sell more shirts to more people. If you are in a club and would like to help please e-mail Kip at kipwca3@aol.com or Clive at usatdn@yahoo.com please no marriage proposals USA TDN PO Box 913 Boulder Creek CA 95006
  3. Still have the stock shock. I only weight 195, that is not to heavy. Im pretty slim . I would have called Ryan but figured he is at the Nationals.
  4. I have a 2.9 Sherco 2006. What size chain does it take. I looked all over the sherco web sites but cant find it.
  5. Kramit do NOT dis my wifes car. Luckily she did not notice the dents. She would have been purty darn mad.
  6. Today we had a Parade in town. I figured I might as well get a car and have some fun. The local tow truck company scored me a car. When I showed up and warmed my bike up my clutch went out. Luckily it was not slipping. But I could only ride over the car one way. A few people took my phone number who are interested in Trials (at least I hope so). The crowd was very responsive with yelling and cheering. The photo is in front of the tow company so not many people there. At the main part of the parade people were about 5 deep and could barely fit the car on the street. 4th of July is coming up with many parades. This can be a good way to get some interest into the sport. I use it to promote my business as well. Yeah Craig I know my toes are pointed in the wrong direction. My gut is to big. Kness are bent to much ect ect. Pay Back
  7. Craig your knees are too far out. Your toes are not positioned correctly. Congratulations Debbie you deserve the award. Good luck to Phil. Sounds pretty exciting. We can all say I knew Phil before he was famous.
  8. Some advice on getting your frame powder coated. Anywhere there are threads put in a plug. The person who is powder coating may have these. The powder coat paint is thick and you will have to clean up the threads with a tap. Take your time and clean up scrathces and nicks on the frame. File down or sand down nicks ect. Also before you tear the bike down take as many photos of everything. I took about 200 pictures. It helps when you put it back together. My best advice would be to send the bike to Big John. The pictures on Trials Central Garage of his bikes are top notch. The Bultaco he has on there is awesome. The cases are like mirrors. He made me feel like a rookie on my restore .
  9. When I got my frame powder coated he only had one color of silver. He said he could special order other shades but none looked very good. If you look at my topic under Bultaco of my (Brand new Bultaco) you will see the finished product.
  10. I talked to Cody and he said that he was taking a completley different line than Pat and that is why is body position is different. When I first saw the photos I thought Cody had the better body position, but what do I know.
  11. Hey I just wanted to show a picture of my Bultaco. Not find out what turns you guys on. If your going to post about your wife at least post some pictures.
  12. Yes it has been sealed. The gas tank is a long story. I sent it off to the expert Bultaco tank guy. Came back with a big smudge on the tank. Sent it back and I was still not happy. Brought it to the local paint guy and $375 later it looks way better. I learned that if something is going to go wrong it will happen to me. I like hearing WOW I have never seen that happen before. Good thing I like beer Copey was my inspiration. After he posted his plane that he built I was wondering if I was lazy. Luckily Im not going to fly my Bultaco. It would crash for sure. I still have a few loose ends to tie up on the bike. I just wanted to get it back together. I can hardly wait to sit in the parking lot and polish the bike in front of my Dad. That will be a Kodax moment.
  13. Thanks everyone. The bike only has 400 miles on it. I put about 3k into it. It is amazing how fast I can screw something up and have to buy another piece. I like the oil leak comment. I drained all of the oil out of the motor and it still leaks. I have always loved the Sherpas all nice and polished. My plan is to show it for a while then maybe ride it. My Dad said how he hates it when people sit in the parking lot and polish their bikes. So I had a great idea to have a bike that is all polished up and not ride it. Good therapy
  14. Here is a picture of my brand new Sherpa T. My Dad called me about a year ago and said a friend was selling a Bultaco in mint condition. So off I went with cash in hand. When I got there it was far from mint. But it was all there. Loaded it in my truck and let it sit in my garage for 6 months. It took about a year to restore. New paint everywhere. A lot of polishing (on the bike). A lot of headaches mainly with the swing arm. My wife seemed really impressed with the results Oh well maybe my friends will like it. Critisism allowed this is my first restore. Oh crap im turning into my Dad.
  15. At the point when they showed his name. He was the bald guy who looks like he has not ridden his trials bike latley. They where in a warehouse and Lane was showing them how the cables works. Then they attached a cable to Street Bike Tommy and he took off, then got pulled from his bike back.
  16. If you watched the Nitro Circus on MTV the great Lane was on there helping Travis Pastrana and his crew with stunts. All this time I thought he was full of it. But he was there in the flesh. He didnt get much talking in but helped with stunts. This show has been my favorite. Travis and his crew do a show kind of like Jack Ass. The USA page sure has gotten boring lately. Maybe I should apologize to the Ice Girl or something. Anybody out there. Did Copey and Craig lose their computer privlages.
  17. I got my DVD of the TY 80 Nationals from www.rypusa.com This is really a good DVD. 4 top riders competing on a 1976 TY 80 for cash and trophy girls. The best part is all of the money raised from the DVD goes directly to the USA TDN fund. The riders are Cody Webb, Ryan Young Chase Harker and Deigo. The DVD started out slow but then the competition get pretty serious. These guys flip the bike around like no problem. I used to ride at TY 80 when I was I a kid. I just found out I did not use the bike to the full potential. This bike gets bottomed out more than you could imagine. Im surprised the bike still runs. I heard they have sold over 100 DVDs, so you know it has to be good. Dont wait and order yours today. I cant tell you who wins but it comes down to the wire. Old guy verse young gun.
  18. Where are the rest of the results? I dont see SR 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, Womens, 125 expert, High School ect ect Thanks for putting up the results Jon. I think Im starting to sound like Mich Lin
  19. Our season starts in April. I have to say the weather here has been incredible the last few days, around 75. When I drove by the beach today and see girls walking around in bikinis, not bad living in California. But have not ridden the last couple of months. Gotta get back into it. Maybe get rid of my fat gut.
  20. The last time I left Muenster it was raining so hard you could not see out of the windsheild. Going down the freeway at 20 mph. It was insane. But back to the picture. Nice picture Copey. You are really maturing nicely.
  21. Might help if we knew where you are located.
  22. I keep forgeting to order that DVD, but it does sound pretty funny. Even better all of the proceeds go to TDN. Just went on line and ordered my DVD. Good karma is coming my way. http://www.rypusa.com/ Dont tell me who wins. The suspence is killing me
  23. I put lower pegs and set back slightly. Also put on fat bars. No not fat chicks Copey, dont get all excited.
  24. I bought a new one in 06. Have not had any problems. Motor is still strong. Pretty easy to work on. I have ridden the bike a lot. At least once a week. Sometimes 4 or 5 times a week.
  25. Craig some people see the positive in things and other the negative. Considering Cody had to qualify all day I would say he did pretty damm good. Read the disclaimer about the 100s of laps. Take a chill pill buddy We all know that Ringo was the fastest guy out there (From the article) I would say he was by far the fastest trials guy there, on both his trials ride as well as the dirt bike. It was the 100s of laps that he completed during the day qualifiers that may have put him off the pace a bit in the main, but make no mistake about it, next year Cody will be a serious threat for a podium finish at one of the rounds on both bikes. Craig your New Years Resolution did not last very long. 3 days 14 hours and 10 minutes.
