Well I have to say something.
First Lane has been one of my favorite reads. Just didnt like the name calling to our younger riders. He always got it stirred up and a lot he said actually kind of made sence if you took out the crap.
Now the iceprick. He would PM me too trying to p*** me off I guess. He never made much sense to me. I think he lacked attention as a child. I just about miss the guy. I mean he is a good kisser and all.
Copemech is in a catagory all by himself. I have never had so many people come to me at an event and ask who the F is this Copermechy guy. Like I must personaly know him. Never met the guy. Some of his post are off the top funny and others I start to worry about him. The only guy I know who can slur his words while posting.
Ringo is the all time winner in my book. His posts have me rolling on the ground with laughter.
So Craig where does Ringo pick up his award?
Also on my best of 2007. I think this was probally the best year in Trials as far as getting publicity and recognition to the sport.

Some of the USA high lights of 2007. Im sure some of you have some also. This is no particular order.
1. Patrick wins US Nationals.
2. Cody wins the Indoor Nationals
3. Patrick wins some 125 World Rounds
4. The USA TDN getting 6th. I knew they would do good and will only get better.
5. Endurocross. I only went to Vegas so Colton getting a 4th and getting a ride with KTM for last man standing and finishing 16th.
6. Endurocross. Just watching the Trials guys kick ass. All that rode did very well. I was at the edge of my seat watching. Cheering YELLING
7. Most improved rider would have to be Will Isben. Great job Will
8. The 125 National Class. I thought this class was awesome. Seemed to be up for grabs at the begining but Colton grabbed it.
9. Reading Cycle News and interviews with Trials Riders. After Endurocross interviews with Geoff and Colton. Feel like we actually made it. Interview with Colton & Geoff after Last Man Standing
10. Geoff getting 2nd at last man standing. Then stating he wanted to make sure TRIALS guys were on the board. Thanks Geoff
11. Louise Forsley would also be a most improved rider. The Womens TDN also did a great job
12. People stepping up to send Patrick and Louise to Europe. Hope it is even better for 2008
13. Looking forward to 2008

That is the best post I have seen. First off his rider Chris pays his minders way. Second he goes to support the team not just Chris.
Just ordered my CD from RYP. The web site is making progress but not complete. www.usatdn.org
I did not know that Ted was such a Chef I will have him make me a sandwich at the next Trial.
-
Just thought I would put a question out to everyone.
How do the other countries raise funds for the TDN?
I am from the USA. It is a grass roots thing here, but there are people who are trying to raise the stakes a little bit. Just loking for some ideas.
-
Right on Dabnabit
To every problem there is a solution (except with my ex-wife). If you want to support the TDN and your asking what can I do? Well here are some simple ideas.
1 Buy a CD at rypusa.com. easy enough also a great Christmas present. I have not ordered mine yet but will soon.
2. Organize an event with all profit going to TDN. Trials event, Trials School, Raffle at your next event, Kids Trial.
3. At your next club meeting bring up donating $1 per rider at each or just one event.
4. Have a swap and sell at an event with a percentage going to TDN. How much motorcycle crap do we all have in our garages? I dont my stuff is all priceless
5. Have a coffee can at sign ups asking for donations.
6. Send a check. My P.O. box is set with TDN to receive mail. Send a buck send $5. It will all go to the TDN. Send cash I dont care. I guarantee it will go directly to TDN. If you send at least $15 I will send one of the dumbest trials videos that never sold out last year.
7. Go to usatdn.org and donate there through pay pal. Or click above at dabnabits post. That way you dont have trust issues with sending me money. I dont care how it gets there.

I had Kip Webb the 2008 TDN team Manager put something together so I or you are not just spouting what we dont know.
# 1 The team is 100% funded thru the grassroots organizing. The last couple years have been very poor. There was NAMU (North American Motorcycle Union & how many people knew what this was?) monies funded thru the FIM that offset some of the cost for 06 & 05 but that has dried up for a lack of organized effort. We are trying to get that back, but not sure what will happen there yet.
# 2 The minders are 100% volunteer, dedicated individuals who pay their own expenses totally, I personally rode 2 days as minder/helper for both Men & Womens team
# 3 Our team is on the verge of breaking thru to the higher levels & need to be supported
# 4 If everyone gave 5 dollars we would be covered, so no money being available is not a valid argument, only a reason to blow holes into that effort
# 5 A concerted effort is underway to raise funds thru the shirts, CD sales etc. but we need it supported
# 6 Another bigger fund raiser PROJECT is a sponsorship package being put together with help of Howard Galbreath & crew, alignment with a larger sponsor is paramount.
Fact: Each 07 team member received $750 for their expenses, you can't even get to Disney World for that let alone 1/2 way across the world to represent the AmericanTrials Community. This effort to do it right @ 100% is about a $12K deal.
What do I ( Kip Webb) as Team Manager gain out of this. Absolutely nothing, other than my love and passion for this sport. I can honestly say that being involved with something you believe in is important to all of us in some way. I have been on both sides as rider & helper/supporter. The efforts being put forth are for the future as well as the present. Feel free to ask me any questions or constructive advice. kip.webb@gcinc.com

First off got to love the name petersdraggin.
I think you will see a lot of changes for 2008. Kip Webb has been on fire. He is in charge this year and has just about got the web site up www.usatdn.org, T shirts are in the works. Bill Isben has made a CD from Isle of man that is for sale at RYP. You will start to see a lot of changes in the near future.
I can see what you mean about the last few years. But in defense the El Tial was moved and Lewis sport took over. Hats off to Lewis sport but when things change it takes a while to make the most of it. I can remember when several bikes were given away at El Trial. I bought tickets and never won. Then it went to one bike. Then I think it went to a kids bike.
Money is tight everwhere I do agree. I own a Home Inspection business. Not as busy as I want. Went from 10 to 15 jobs a week to 3 or 4 some weeks.
But I will still kick in some cash. It is what you can afford. If every trials rider in the USA kicked in a few bucks there would not be a problem. Then there are the few that may kick in more.
If you look at last years team they are all young kids (in my book they are young). Just out of High School or in college. So it cant hurt to kick in a few bucks to help out. Just imagine $3 times how many trials riders in the USA. Im sure it is a fairy tale to think everyone would send $3.
-
I agree. The riders should not have to pay to represent us. And they did a great job of doing so. So where do we send some cash to. I got the first $25.00 bucks to send where??? This should also be a reminder if we all just helped out a little bit it would make a huge difference.
How much did each rider have to come up with?
This was the highest placing team we have ever had

The funny part is the icequeer is the first one to mention gay. We never mention gay until the icehomo brings it up. This topic never got going (in the wrong direction) untill I mentioned that BAMA who is really a great person to be around is a different person on here. My thought is the icefag just may be BAMA. Dont know and dont care. They both seem to be in love with Lane. They have broken hearts over it. Wait untill a real live girl actually leaves them.
The only reason there are so many posts is because icedresser posted over and over. I am glad this is your last post. You never came up with anything intelligent or thoughtful. Looked like a school girl text message. We were not laughing with you, we were laughing at you.
AS far as me being gay, if I was gay I could do way better than Craig. Call me gay (I dont care) but next time set me up with someone better. And not Copey
-
Thanks Steve. You make it sound like I only get young stupid girls. I cant even get old stupid women.
I cant help it if the icequeer has the hots for me.
-
I heard KTM gave him a bike. Dont know the details. 250 2 stroke.
-
So beer made you gay . Did you pass out at one of your little friends parties? There is nothing wrong with being gay icey.
Also Iceboy why do you click on my profile everyday? What are you expecting (may not want to know). You are starting to scare me.
-
Ice girly you must do the same (all buddy buddy). You seem to know eveyone but cant remember anyone confronting me. Is Ringo your idle? He does'nt know you but you have ridden with him and it has been crazy. Like crazy how? Be careful how you answer. Ringo will fight for it too.
I knew you would come back with some stupid responses but just did'nt imagine. Wow can you say therapy.
We know your not Lane, that is very obvious. Just take a deep breath. Well its just about 10:00pm your bed time. So sweet dreams
-
the icegirl is just going to come back with the same HA HA HA you guys are thinking too hard (or in his words hahaHa youd guysare thinken too hard). He is just like BAMA. I nice kid when you meet him at the event. But get his little gay ass behind a key board and they turn into professional idiots. I wonder if Andrews Dad knows he is BAMA? I see BAMA finaly stopped following Andy around the board asking what would Lane think???
I never knew who BAMA was untill someone PM me with you know BAMA is Andrew and for a nice kid he sure can be an obnoxius idiot on the board.
So once again icegirl. I dont really care who you are and stop sending me PM's wanting to know how to score with girls and also become a better rider. Maybe your boy friend BAMA can help you out.
Also I am going to put my money on Craig to win the race. Just have to keep him away from the beer before the race.
-
If you go to http://www.rypusa.com/ the CDs are available from the Isle of Man TDN. $25 gets you a copy. What a deal.
-
I think that is Sponge Bob Square Pants. It's my favorite show.
-
From what I have heard we will have a western series. Possibly the first being El Trial in southern CA. Hopefully it will all come together. A lot of work is going into the TDN for 2008. I know Kip and few people have been working hard. The web site should be up fully soon with some pretty cool stuff on it.
-
I heard what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Here is some of the racing. The camera guys missed the launch of Knights bike but some good footage of trials bikes.
This has been brought up but how many of you have done something you regret? It is no fun having to deal with Im a dumb ass syndrome. I have had plenty of experience with that.

The Trial des Nation effort is in full swing. The plan has been to get as many opportunities as possible that will allow our riders to compete with the best support available. Our first project is a high quality CD that is going to be available soon, compiled from the professional photography of Bill Ibsen. This CD will have hundreds of photos from this years Isle of Man event and is currently being distributed by Ryan Young Products & will be expanded to other retail outlets as well as our in process website www.usatdn.org/
One of the current and most important issues we face and need help from the Trials community with, is the supply and printing of our support shirts. These shirts will be one of our main fund raising items. Can anyone offer support on this project? We have the artwork, now what we need is the expertise of someone who can supply the shirts and accomplish the printing part. This will be a large part of our effort to raise funds for this team.
At this point, today, there appears that at least 6-7 very competent American riders will participate in and support the US World Round @ the Trials Training Center in Tennessee, in 2008. This is an unprecedented milestone for American Trials. We will continue to encourage these riders as they vie for a spot on the USA Trial des Nation team. We feel it is very important to support these young men and women. Our website, although in the building stages at this point will be updated regularly with news and progress reports. Thank you for your support.
As you can see a lot of work is going into the TDN for 2008.
If you can help in any way please e-mail Kip Webb at kipwca3@aol.com or Clive at clivebelvoir@yahoo.com

Craig you beat me to it. I was going to mention lewissport also. Can Also try craigslist
-
Thanks Vince. Anyone who was not there would be amazed how many guys had trouble on the rock pile. Several large holes. Taddy hit it perfect every time. I brought 3 friends with me who dont ride at all. When Taddy did the flip turn they were amazed and already want to go back for both shows next year. They were also shocked when Knight launched his bike off the tires. Couldnt believe someone would get that mad. I know I could get that mad but would regret it later. Im hope Knight regrets his actions.
Also heard the Trials bikes may have their own class next year. If they are woried about us just make the water deeeeeper.

http://www.cyclenews.com/ShowStory.asp?HeadlineID=11633 Article from cycle news
Back from Vegas and saw some of the best racing I have ever seen. Just watching the Friday races were awesome. Non-stop action. The trials guys did an awesome job.
Qualifying was fun to watch. Seeing Colton have the best time over all was great. Too bad Cody drowned his bike because 2 Trials bikes would have been at the top.
Main event was the best of the racing. Watching Knight and Taddy battle it out and watching Colton gaining on them. Taddy went over the rock pile like no one else. Flick turn in the air 180 and on the gas. He never missed.
Sorry did not see Mich.
-
My favorite too. I never have a minder to catch my bike so my expression is a little different. Great shots.
-
Who is going to endurocross. I will try this topic again. I will be the one sitting with Segfreid and Roy maybe Craig.
The icegirl cant make it. His parents would have to take him and his bed time is 10:00 PM sharp, so he would miss the last race.
-
Im better than Hernia Tryharder. He is over rated. I guess you got your DVD. Who is buying a new Gasser?
