I do either of three things: 1.) run said animal or hazard over at top speed. ( has worked on two snakes, 2 cacti, and two pucker bushes so far) 2.) take the helmet off and bash the $#%^ outta the hazard (have not tried yet for my helmet looks much too nice) 3.) run like little girl (seems to work best )

Only thing I can say about HS class is that its a step up from last year. ES lines are much more challenging and makes the event fun, not one of those 0-1-2-3 point events. However, someone ought to think about when they are having these events. You don't know the crap some of us still in school have to go through with tests, work, catching up, upcoming college, SATS, PSATS, etc... Its very hard to find excuses to leave school for 3 days, and come back to lots of work and possible disciplinary action due to strict schools. It makes nationals nearly impossible to get to. I know enviromentally, arizona and oklahoma would've been hell in summer, but I guess you can make the arguement that the NATC is not appealing to its largest class, lol. Gladly, rhode island will be during summer vacation, but I'm kinda wonderin what's going to happen when we leave for the world round, since we're drivin to that one for friday... So I suppose it might be hard to change how they schedule events, because its a free for all as I hear it. So who wants a national? We do! When? April. okay, good. Who's next?

The bike probably flooded out. Usually if it won't start after a wipeout, I just turn the throttle all the way and kick it over. Then once it starts up it coughs a bit an sputters back to life.

Why I started? My dad rode a 79 sherpaT in locals. I wanted in and got in on a heavily modded 76 honda XR75. That thing was a pig for trials but it got me through beginner. The famed Ty80 was next... Why I still ride? Because I'm doing bigger and harder stuff now, nothin like getting up some massive rock or log or cleaning a hard section to get a sense of victory or "Holy SH!T how'd my buddies encourage me to go up that!!!", because I may have a future in it, its better than mx, its better than track n field, and i'm on a motorcycle. What would I do to get more ppl into it? Demos, introduce people to the bike, and promote it where ever I damn well can lol.

It's possible to make it to the WTC with the current natc standards/situation. It's just harder for us than the europeans and whoever(hopefully more than one makes it) steps up and makes it to that level, will probably be that much better a rider for it.

Pros or anyone competent in their form of bicycle/motorcycle sport can be good at any other disicpline. I'd like to try motocross and show the poseurs at my school that they aren't Ricky or Bubba but I always think I'm going to break something...

Two things: 1.) if you're in a line, and time is of the essence, then it makes sense to have the request a five thing 2.) if you had to go into the section, and you just went in the start gates and killed the engine or something, it'd just waste your time, the observer's time, the guys in line's time, and would make no sense. edit: I'm for the request a five thing...

I can't understand why our government gets the right to tell us what we can and can't do on our OWN property considering when I ride I put out less emissions than the person that travels into the city to the zoo or aquarium or something.

Ishy, that's exactly the reason why I went/didn't move to the class I'm in now, HS since it got to do the ES line this year, because I was bored last year of losing because of one dab or a stupid five or something. It just wasn't challenging anymore. I'm glad I'm in the ES line now, more challenge, and less of the one point dropped equalling a second place. I think a lot of support riders would agree with you, however many are too uh, well not physically able enough to take any crashes should they ride the ES line so they won't move up. And I don't see the Expert line getting any easier so...

I thought this conversation was about lance armstrong and his purchase of a trials bike. 125 nationals belong in the other 3 (or is 4 or 5?) threads that are somewhat dedicated to 125s in america. That lance guy must have legs of steel...

Yep We've talked about this in quite a few other threads, its gotten no where. But I just figured I'd say that before peacin out of this one.

A USA world contender who gets top five or wins it will get some press. But those ideas down the bottom there would work as well, however I hope lance armstrong doesn't show up at one of our neta events. I'd be running over media people on the loop. But get a respectable motocycle guy to go full out into trials and that would help. edit: Not to rain on that parents parade, but you don't think she embellished her story? Sounds kinda made up to me, lots of people say they are fast and could lie to sponsors to get stuff or ride the Expert novice class.

gassers have a "real man's clutch" so deal with it. j/k The fiber plates are probably swollen so just do some mixing and matching of plates. Make it thinner or thicker, whichever makes lever pull easier.

Handling issues? Its pretty easy to bend something in one crash and that in itself can modify your ride(not the way you want of course). Or maybe you guys were just doing more dropoffs then usual.

Typically, GG's new are being let go for good prices. Which is good for the buyer, but not for the seller. Can we please end this already. It's turning into a free for all.
