Hi I'm having some bother with the fan on my 2012 sherco 125. The bike will start and run however the fan and front light will not come on, i have replaced the fan rectifier but still no luck, the fan works fine when i wired it up to a battery. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm thinking of re-painting the clutch cover, water pump cover and cylinder head on my 2012 sherco as some of the paint has chipped and worn and doesnt look good. What paint do you reccomend i use to give the most hard wearing finish possible? enamel? powder coating? any other paints? Thanks.

Hi all, Just stripping down my 2012 sherco 125 to rebuild it and i've got to the swingarm but i cant remove the swingarm pivot bolt, ive managed to get it rotationg slightly however i still cannot knock it out. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thinking of building a bit of a custom trailer with mini lite alloys and checker plate etc... Im just not too keen on having to compress the forks and suspension when strapping it down, anyone got any alternatives? Also any other things you think might be good to add? Thanks.

For the front mudguard 'rubber flap' I marked points on the mudguard where to drill holes and then I used 2, short panhead machine screws and 2 large'ish' washers, tightened up with 2 nuts on the inside of the mudguard, simple

My sumpguard on my sherco is pretty bent and i was wondering if i could straighten it somehow to get a bit more life out of it before i buy a thicker 2013 sump guard? Or are there any cheaper/stronger alternatives to a sherco one? thanks. Its a 125 2012

Okay thanks! Think i might invest in one then, also would i need to take the whole clutch casing off to fit the waterpump or not?

I own a sherco 125 2012 model and when i roll the bike backwards, the chain links catch on the frame near the footpeg, this is very annoying as it keeps on pushing the split link clip off and this could lead to some serious damage!, any ideas? All help is much appreciated, thanks.

Hi, take the petrol tank off and use a flatblade screwdriver to push on the ribs of the filler cap to unscrew it, to fill up, i used a small funnel with a piecwe of rubber hose/tube on the end of it. hope this will help!

Thanks, but the sumpguard already on it is bent and its pushing the rubber up against the clutch casing.

Has anybody got any modifications/improvements on their 2012 sherco that they would like to share? I'm a 15 year old clubman rider and I've recently got a 2012 125cc sherco of which I am very impressed by after having a 2008 model, The bike already has a keihn carb and titanium footpegs on it, I'm running a 9-48t sprocket ratio, what other modifications are there that may further improve the bike both performance-wise and cosmetically and also reduce the weight, even though it is light enough already haha. Also could anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can get a 2013 model thicker sumpguard? Thanks in advance.
