Hehehe. I was close to doing similar purely to make me use Potatoshop. I installed PSP 8 and it ground my PC to a halt - AMD 1.7 with 786Mb RAM. I will get into Photoshop soon, but in the meantime I've downgraded back to PSP 7.

There have certainly been many rumours abound lately. I heard plenty both before and during the SSDT. Not being a News of The World kind of site though, I'm not about to publish any because until they're confirmed one way or another they are just that - rumours.

Quite possibly bandwidth issues. Interest was very high. I was originally linking to the pics on the US Montesa site, but copied them onto my server to save them bandwidth as I have a high bandwidth limit My understanding was that it was an official press release and on that basis I certainly wasn't going to refuse them. Montesa's PR people sent out one of the photos last night after the afternoon press release. Whether that was as a result of the information being "leaked" (if it even was) or not I don't know. I'm sure I'll find out though!

Welcome! Good to have another Trials photographer on board. If you want to do photos for publicity then I'm happy to do so!

It was the first time I'd ever been to the Pre-65 and that was the only thing that marred what was otherwise a great Trial. It's not such a problem at the Six-days as it's well publicised that spectators bikes are not permitted on any part of the course and on the whole, people respect that (there is the odd moron who thinks they know better i.e. Father & son, Ben Nevis, Saturday.) I could find nothing in the Pre-65 programme saying anything about spectators bikes staying off the course, although to me it would only be common sense. It's something that needs to be addressed though, not only from an insurance point of view, but for ensuring the continuation and success of both events.

I was VERY disappointed in the Pre-65 in the respect of non-competitors abusing the course. The walk up to Pipeline on Friday I was getting out of the way of more spectators bikes than I was competitors. I don't mind giving way to Competitors or Officials, but I do object to stopping for someone who's too lazy to walk it. Same on Saturday up to Mamore. It was like the M25 up there. All these people are doing is giving the walkers and tree-huggers more ammo to kill Trials off and for only one reason - laziness.

I can't repeat what these two lasses said when I said I was there from Hello! magazine, but if anybody knows them then please let them know they're now famous!
