Exclusion would work - it would only take one to be excluded for word to get round and you can be damned sure nobody else would do it. Exactly the same as the two lads that were excluded for riding up the steps at the Ballachulish Bridge. Bet nobody did it the year after! There's no doubt in my mind that things have become "softer" since I first got involved back in '89.

On a seperate note, the front page has just been updated with ALL my photos sorted by rider name. This includes those from Fri and Sat that haven't been seen and two versions - one for dial-up and one for broadband users.

Ahhh - the old "miss the moors to Laggan Locks" trick. That needs to be picked up on and an observer posted at the bottom of the road to Laggan. Send them back. That'll sort them out.

Short-sighted indeed. As long as criticism is constructive I don't see any problem with it. How else are the organisers going to get feedback if everybody does the old church mouse thing?

Well done for finishing - you looked like you could hardly walk the sections, never mind ride them! I'll post the photo tonight. It's very much a one-off though as I'm not in the habit of photographing guys with their trousers round their ankles!

Crosser completed on a different bike, but on a no-award basis. There is however the story of a rider (who shall remain anonymous) who went out on one colour of bike and turned in a different...

I did see him parked up in a lay-by working on it on Friday. Long way back to Fort William if that was where it packed up.

I suppose I better remember to thank Big John for being my umbrella holder while I took photos at Inversanda. Contrary to popular belief, he's not totally useless

There should be an announcement on another great prize for this in the next day or so and, having had a meeting with the Bradford bods up in Fort William, we think that other than a prize for best adult and best youth all the rest will be drawn out of a hat so everyone is in with a chance of winning something - regardless of how good a rider they are.

No. I was (just) outside the marker which was literally right next to me. If he'd hit me he'd have gone past the wrong side of it. Apart from that, he cleaned the section
