New air filter and hose fitted tonight, discovered a spilt in the hose a couple of days back.

Fitted new fork springs, fork top nuts, fuel cap, kill switch and steering stop bushes.

New springs fitted today and 20ml oil drained out each leg, what a difference!

New springs ordered today.

My Bultaco 199B.

Looking for advice on the forks, they were very spongy as pointed out buy the seller when I bought the bike, so drained out the fork oil which had seen better days and only 100ml in each leg, filled with new 10w castrol 200ml each leg, found the forks not rebounding fully and there seems to be air coming out the fork nut valve, could the valves be knackered? ordered a new pair any way. P.S are the forks meant to be air assisted? cheers john.

Hi Bondy yes it is , long time no speak!, been two years since i had my last Bultaco.

Just bought this beauty, picking it up tomorrow morning.

Ty nearly finished, just waiting on the rear wheel getting the new tyre on tuesday then it will be finished. They pinky will then be next up for a cosmetic upgrade.

This latest purchase has slowed the progress on the above project, but is well worth the wait.
