    Bultaco

I have just bought a Bultaco today and I am pretty sure that I will be on here asking all sorts of questions! Cheers John.
  7. Hi guy's been offered a Beta Evo 250 2T 2010 model in a deal for my bike, problem is i know nothing about beta evo's I would appreciate any views on good and bad points in relation to the above model. I like the look of the bikes and have heard that the evo is a good bike, so can any one convince me to take it. cheers John.
  8. Where does the relationship stand at this moment? or what was it the last conversation that has lead you to post this, my point is can you still talk to the dealer? John.
  9. Dunfermline Trial tomorrow and only 15 minuets away.
  10. Thanks b40rt, looks very nice. Cheers John.
  11. Never heard of that one, where can i see a Vasques modified Bultaco? cheers John.
  12. Depends on what you are going to do with it, if you are planning on keeping it and using it then you could go as far as you like with it. You could fit a modern front end and powder coat the wheels black and so on but the bike would stand out more if it was restored to a very high standard and be worth a pound or two into the bargain but if you modify it away from standard it might not float every bodies boat. Good luck with what ever you do. cheers John.
  13. All great looking bike there.
  14. Nice to see that the forum can help people and create friendships along the way. John.
  15. Just had a quick look at the stats for kick start, it ran for over 12 years or 13 seasons in tv land, now we all know that if some thing has not got the viewing figures then it gets pulled, so there must have been public interest for it to run for as long as it did. John.
  16. Having read this thread my own thoughts on the best way to publicise trials is back to the days of Kick Start, i am sure it was watched by plenty people and it must have sparked a interest in trials for many. If all the powers that be were involved in the UK were to put a package together and preposed it to a tv channel you never know some might take it on.

    Cota 247

That is good news ally, looks a bit random to me, can't see any reason for it being in the casing. Yellow wire more than likely for lights. cheers John.
  18. Don't know the RAL number but volks wagon Mars Red is spot on, have a look at my 247 on the montesa forum. cheers John,
  19. It is looking good steve.
  20. Hi jc2, thanks for the info on the kick start, i always thought it was a little to far forward but it was in that position when i got the bike so i just left it in that position, but now I am going to have to move it as i like things to be correct. cheers John.
  21. I was a school boy 35 years ago as well! Where does the time go? but i never had a new montesa then either. cheers John.
  22. Cheers Steve, your unit looks great as well, pity about vallmoto as it really annoying when they take your money then tell you that it is not in stock. I think you might struggle a bit with the seat, you could go down the road of getting one custom made to suit the unit, if you could find a upholsterer to make one. Let us know how you get on. cheers John.
  23. Thanks mags, I am very pleased with the overall finish of the bike. cheers john.
