Hi Steve, the old cups were a bit of a challenge to get out, i used a old 18 inch socket extension to drift them out.
The dual seat bike is not road registered, it is the other one that is registered.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers
John.

Hi Shawn and welcome, some nice videos that you have there, keep posting them up.

Hi Paul and welcome, have a look at the A.C.U. section on the forums, there you will find most of the clubs in the area closest to you.
Then contact your nearest club and go along and meet the guy's there and find out whats on where and when.
Cheers
John.

What is the problem with the feel and running of the bike in particular?
-
It is the original one painted black.
Cheers
John.
-
Thanks Larry, just about finished it, just need new seat and paint job on tank/seat unit to complete the project.
Cheers

You can check the the frame number has not been tampered with but more about the seller is he legitimate, can he give you history of the bike, proof of ownership etc, invoices for parts or work done, just the same checks that you would do if you were buying a road bike.
cheers

Hi and welcome jonnyp22, first thing that you should do is find a trials club near you, then go along and speak to the guy's there.
Then find out what is involved in buying a second hand trials bike from the club members who i am sure would be happy to help you.
Other than that, if you want to go out and buy a bike then make sure that it belongs to the seller and that it starts and rides o.k.
The list of what you should check is extensive but common sense should keep you right.
Good luck and cheers
John.

Red wire from condenser goes to the spade connection on the coil.

Thanks mags, I will see what i can do on the shipping front
-
Definitely will be trialing my 247 when it is finished even if it is a cracking looking bike in my opinion.
-
Thanks Dave, the front is a original Montesa one and the rear is the long stilmoto one from in motion.
cheers
John.
-
Looking good bondy my box arrived today also from in motion.
Cheers
John.
-
Got mudguards today so had to fit them.
-
Hi Ally, i think your problem was posting the review, the site does not allow posting of other peoples work i.e written work or photo's from magazines etc, for fear of copy rights.
Cheers
John.

Mudguards should be here by friday and other bits and bobs, looking forward to getting it finished.
-
Was bored and decided to de-sticker the second bike and tape the seat up.
Don't know whether to keep this one or move it on.
-
I know how you feel bondy, i have to get the Cota finished and i am already looking for the next project, i stuck a wanted advert on the off road site to see what was available.
-
Just refitted the rebuilt rear wheel to the bike along with the chain guard and tentioner.
Took a few pics of both bikes as the sun was shining .
-
Got my back wheel back from the wheel builder and fitted the tyre and sprocket then refitted it to the bike along thin the chain guard and chain tentioner.
-
Bondy you are just teasing hoodie2.
-
-
No problem hoodie2, I had made my mind up last night that it was not for me, just to much of a gamble with the lack of engine details etc.
I would be tempted to break it up as tank and mudguards look good as do the forks.
Cheers
John.
