I wish I would've thought about it sooner but a call to Bill Haskell at Balance Trials Supply in Colorado or Mike Damm at Trials Superstore are both good at finding Techno parts too. But Ian at Trials And Tribulations is a great guy and you'll have no problems with him.
I've operated the same Mori 40 for 12 years and has had new belts, a chuck rebuild, and a door switch. The company bought a bunch of Haas lathes to take the place of aging Yamas and every Haas we have has had at least one new transmission in the six years we've owned them. MORI ANYDAY!! You get what you pay for.
I took my wife to this past Texas National Round and other than having to do some walking in the heat she had a great time! She was very impressed not only with the pros and their riding ability but also how approachable everyone was. She had people just walk up and start talking to her and answering her questions and she said, "There is no other professional sport that allows you to be this close to the action." She had a great time and now she actually gets what this is all about.

here is a trials boot question for you. I wear a size 10 boot and my calf measures 18 1/2 inches around. I need some trials boots that will close around my calf. does anyone else have this problem and if so what brand boots do you wear? i have not been able to find any trials boots in my area so i will have to order some.
I've got an '87 Reflex that I'm gonna start stripping lights off of tomorrow. Still has the stock Keihen carb on it and it stutters a little when you crack the throttle open quickly but from what I read that seems normal unless I do a carb swap. I enjoyed looking at your build photos Gravity.
Thanks! I wondered if those would work. I thought I had them in far enough, (they were standard length levers) but I guess not. Guess the short levers make more sense to keep the breakage to a minimum.
Hey guys can anyone tell me which clutch and front brake levers will fit and where to find them? Probably gonna need to order spares to keep in my toolbox as much as I've fallen lately.
Can I remove the headlight, taillight and turn signals from the Reflex without having to unplug and rewire things so it still runs. I just want it stripped to the bare essentials before my wife and son break all the lights off it!
I just got another trials bike after a 15 year layoff and ride at Lake McClellan outside of Pampa almost every weekend. All those logs are still there and Yamaha has helped fund the area for riding because there is no water in the lake. It's a little overgrown but it's all still there. I bought an old '96 Techno like in Lineaways picture to re-learn on. I'm usually the only one there with a trials bike. I have a friend at work that quit riding about the same time I did but has bought an old GasGas 350 and is about to start riding with me. As far as I know none of the old Top Of Texas Trials Association trials club guys ride anymore. Sad.
