  1. Thank you for your answer. But isnt there a difference between 0W75 and 75W oil? Yes, I live in Sweden so maybe its harder to find the right oil. I put ATF oil in the bike and after that I think the clutch has gone harder so now I want the right oil.
  2. The manual recommends 0W75 Gear trans oil, but I cant find that oil anywhere. What are you all using?
  3. Thats right, I changed the relay, but no difference. Arent the relays sealed to be waterproof? Doesnt mean they cant get damp inside anyway, but they are harder to open. Is there a way to test the relay? Good tip to contact Oset, I might have to do that.
  4. So I took the negative wire coming from the battery and disconnected it from the B- on the controller. Then I measured holding the negative probe to that wire and the positive probe on the relay. Now I get 36 volts on all four pins of the relay. Key switch on or off doesnt make any difference. The key switch is working when I measure the resistance through it. Did I do it right gwhy?
  5. The relay doesnt click. I have only 2-3 volts on the relay, regardless of the key switch being on or off. That is on all 4 pins. What I forgot to mension is that I replaced the relay after finding out that the bike works with direct power on the controller, but it didnt change anything.
  6. In the picture is my daughters 16.0 36v Oset and as you can see I need help. I have upgrated it with a lithium ion battery and a Kelly controller. After installing the Kelly controller the bike ran fine for about two months but then it suddenly stopped working. After some measuring I suspected the controller so I contacted Kelly and got some help from them to search for the fault. I finally got the advice to disconnect the relay and connect power directly to the controller. And with -36v to B- on the controller and +36v to B+ and pin9 on the controller (for powering the controller) the bike works (the key switch doeant work). I also disconnected the wire from the relay to B+ on the controller. My problem is that I dont really understand what this suggests. I want to know what is wrong so I can fix it permanent. I hope someone here can help me.
  7. I have installed LiPo batteries on an Oset 20.0 48v before with good result. Now its time for my daughters 16.0 but I am not really sure about what batteries to use. I would like to have maybe 12000-16000 mAh and I am thinking about anything from totally 8 cells (29.6v) to 10 cells (37v). Is there anyone here who have done this and what batteries have you used?
  8. Thank you feetupfun! I am not planning on changing to much about the bike. If i can just get it a bit stiffer in the front it will be fine. Your suggestion to use springs from for example an XL 125 would be fine for me. The small diameter fork is probably difficult to find progressive springs for.
  9. My tl 125 is quite soft in the front. Anyone who know where to find longer, harder springs? Preferably progressive Springs.
  10. Is the relay under the rear fender clicking when turning the key? On my 20.0 water had gone in to the relay so it seized.
  11. Dont know if its what you are looking for or if it is possible to see anything but I will give it a try.
  12. http://m.ebay.com/itm/221688377280?nav=SEARCH That is for go kart. But is there one that fits the Oset?
  13. Does anyone know if there is a 9T front sprocket available for Oset 20.0?
  14. The Torrot looks similar to Sherco and Xispa.
  15. I have now installed my new lipo batteries and I am very pleased with it. I took contact with many different companys through ebay and aliexpress.com and then chose a company that seemed serious, with good prices and with quick answers to my many questions. The company was www.onbopower.com, Skype: lyyshelly, Email: sales03@onbo-power.com . From them I bought 2x 6s 22000mAh lipo batteries, lipo bags, cables and Xt90 connectors. The only failure I had was that I just got the female part of the connector, so if you order from them make sure to get both male and female part. Also keep in mind the cost for customs. The bike is now 8kg lighter and has at least 3 times original runtime. I bought a charger that can charge both batteries at the same time. I chose two 6s batteries in series because it is much easier to get 6s in the right shape and mAh. The range of 12s batteries are limited and is there any 13s at all?
  16. Snyggt jobbat! (Yes I am also Swedish). Seems like a fun project. Not much power you say, but how is it to ride concerning geometrics, weight, suspension etc? I am also curious about your boys Oset 16 with 20 wheels, do you have any pictures of that one?
  17. Thank you for lifting this old thread. I also have an Oset 20 that will get Kelly and Lipos. I have ordered two 22.2v 22000Ah to put in serie. What batteries have you used for your 24Ah pack? And how much runtime do you get with it?
  18. Beta minitrial 20 is 36v. It is like a 16 with bigger wheels. Not to compare with Oset 20 48v but with Oset 20 Lite 36v.
  19. I am now looking for LiPo as well. But I want a long runtime out of it. The Boost Bikes pack: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hi-Power-Oset-20R-48v-Lithium-Battery-Pack-Fully-Protected-1-4-Weight-4x-Runtime-/131398178957?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item1e97f1188d promises 4 times the runtime but is still only 10Ah. How is that possible? Does 10Ah from a LiPo pack last longer than 10Ah SLA or 10Ah LiFePo4? The price on these are tempting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZOP-POWER-22-2V-15000mAh-30C-6S1P-Lipo-Battery-for-DJI-S800-S900-S1000-S1000-/221639493035?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item339abe45ab Do you think two of them would make a good pack?
  20. Thank you for your answer. Do you or anyone else know if it is 20Ah packs that are being used, or do they charge during the competitions?
  21. I have just bought an Oset 20.0 Eco for my son. I think it is quite strange that Oset doesnt offer any Lithium batteries so now I am looking for a new battery. LiPo seems popular here on the forum but I had a LiFePo4 36v 20Ah on the previous 16.0 that I was very pleased with. Looking at the very skillfull boys in videos like this: makes me wonder; what batteries are those guys using?
  22. Thank you for your answer. What I have found is that there are no big differences. Maybe just another construction on the steering lock.
  23. I am looking for a Oset 20.0 for my son. Can anyone tell me the differences between 14 and 15 model of the Eco model?
