All fixed needed a new throttle body with tps ,the tps was already set from the factory so just bolted on and started second kick I did clean the the old TPS but still had problems so it must have failed great service from Ossa uk Nigel Birkket rung him friday and got the new throttle body this morning top service.

Ok great will check the hose in the morning another thing i notice was when i took the injector out it was clean there is usally some oil on it also the top of the piston was dry as well as the spark plug even though i had the bike ticking over for a whlie.when the bike was started no smoke came out the exhaust .I know the fuel is getting the the injector but not from the injector to cylinder it almost like the bike has gone into limp home mode

This might sound like a stupid question i am seeing more and more twinshock bikes with what looks like a honda or pit bike engine these bikes use the frame as a fuel tank are they hime made specials or can you buy they ,they look light a fun to ride.

Had the tps reset a few months ago i dont have access to the cable tried 2 new plug still the same the bike starts first kick and ticks over fine is sound like a fuel issue ,put new fuel i think the fuel pump may have gone i changed the fuel filter 5 rides ago but left the fuel pump as the bike was running fine its a pain in the back side to change the pump

Just keep an eye on the lipo if it swells bin it,you can buy the same battery in a protective case they are more money but does stop the battery being damaged if a cell is puntured it will start to smoke and catch fire.hope it all goes well keep us posted
  15. badger360 replied to lotus54's topic in OSSA
Only problem is lipos can explode or swell up if the battery is drained below a certain voltage l raced modle cars for years using lipos and they must be balance charge and in a fire proof bag .the battery must never be aloud to go flat, modle cars have a low voltage cut off to prevent the battery from being damaged or worst catching fire ,they produce much more power than a normal battery
  16. What does he think of it compared to the ossa saw one for the first time last week and it looked good
  17. It does not take long to do but does need a lot of packing good luck
  18. If the compression on the shock is set to low the silencer will hit the swinging arm or tyre will rub on big landing ,they are easy to repair with new carbon fiber, just add a couple of click on the compression and you should be ok.
  19. You are not going to like my answer but re packing it does not make it much sound much better ,it is loud compared to the standard system once apart you will find the packing is ok but there will be some mesh and steel wool wrapped around the baffle this will be blocked up with carbon, just clean in petrol ,its the only thing I dont like about the bike is that it is loud ,no pics sorry take it apart and give it a go,when I did mine it sounded the same but had a lot more bottom end power.
  20. Yes done mine a few time easy job just drill all the rivets out including the tail pipe rivets,un bolt the inlet side of the silencer and remove the packing ,it should have some packing and steel wool .Either clean the steel wool and re use it or just use packing,I used a mixture of flat packing and the loose wool type once apart you will see what I mean.Dont put too much packing in otherwise it will be hard the put the cover back on.
