That sounds like the sort of lining i use for my tlr 250 & i've been told it's for fork lifts, so it's made for a harsh environment ie oil grease & other things that may be on a factory floor
Been looking @ these as a possible option for worn cylinder? i have red about people saying that an oversize will cause all sorts of problems, but is this just a small increase that will work or is it a handgrenade waiting to go off? i would prefer first hand experience not a mate of a mates Dog etc;)
Well i finally got some Barnett Kevlar clutch plates in the TLR 250, & had a ride for a couple of hours @ the club grounds today, & have to say i'm pretty happy with them!! no noises or slipping of the clutch just total engagement:) i use the anti judder kit & 4 Kevlar plates & so far everything is great!
You pommys don't know what HOT is;) i just pull them back a bit, make sure surface is clean then apply some silicone, Plumbers type & push it back down, sometimes i might put a bit of masking tape over it to hold it down, wait about 24hrs all's good
