I have a pair of the alloy Rockshocks fitted to my twinshock and they have been Superb,i had Falcons fitted before these and i prefer the Rockshocks not only because they seem lighter and look better but they work really well and no leaks which is the main thing as far as i am concerned, well worth the money.

    Thats No Tlr

The rear Mufler is cut off to shorten the tail pipe and also to help the bike run more eficientley, also the shocks are just after market items as the bike is over 26 years old the originals have been replaced to be fair this bike could benefit fron a set of Falcons, but apart from that it is a good example dont you think? Oh and the spokes are not Original nor is the engine oil hope this clears things up!

  14. Hi Bigwig the little beauty has gone up North to Border Classic Country whatch it at Wern Du 15th October Fingers Lunn Beware A*** whuppin time! Bigwig i have sent you a PM.
  15. The reason for the bikes price increase is so mike can tell his missus "no one is interested at the momement my dear no bidders, oh well i will just have to keep them another year!!!"
  16. Wow so much confusion!! the bottom line in this is if you want to play out on Sunday these Honda's are Fantastic bikes to ride in Classic trials or even open to centre events we ride the Border classic events 12-14 times a year +some centre trials and have a brilliant day out.The amount of people who just turn up to watch these bikes has increased just in the last year alone. whilst we have so many experts on this subject who knows the history of this model RS200TS circa1980 I have one and it is Superb to ride but so ugly if it was my wife she would have gone years ago!!!! It was based on the XL185 chassis that much I know, how many were made and how many are left (I have two) Any help please.
  17. Hi I read on this forum somewhere that the paint is also a Ford Colour match so it may help to check out their paints chart. hope this helps.
  18. Also similar to the xl185 may be easier to find one hope this helps.
  19. This news has really upset me i knew Norman and he was one of the best! R.I.P.Norman from Slippery and the Liverpool lads.
  20. Do you suggest removing the spring? ( i do have one fitted) Hi, I would reccomend leaving the spring on,and as also suggested make sure you centralise the brake hub when you tighten the front spindle.Good luck
  21. Hi Just a quick tip! Do you have a spring fitted to the front of the cable between the adjuster and the nipple on the brake drum end, sounds silly but some people remove this spring This will give similar problems to what you are experiancing.
  22. Thanks for all the advice Keep it coming i know someone on the TC site will come up with the goods maybe after the SSDT has finished and everyone is back home thanks again
