- sherco Keihin carb
Clock wise is richer on keihin. If you want a better running bike install a 120 main jet and a 55 pilot. At sea level use a 122 main. Most trials bikes are lean on bottom and rich on top stock. Most stock bikes with keihin,s are running air screw in to far because of this. With the jetting I gave you you will end up with the screw alot closer to 1.5 out.You will have more snap off the bottom and and bike will run way cleaner and rev better doing this.- Budget friendly shocks

Yes they wood.- Wood in the crank?
Pretty wierd and most likly not stock.I use to do stuff like that when I was a teenager lol.I used cork and jb weld back then.Never had anything fly apart but also did not notice any power change.I tried regrinding a cam for a go cart one time as a kid (brigs motor)Ran like hell in a go cart for about 5 minutes.- carb settings for 2007 txt 300 pr0
I am guessing you have a Dell'orto.A 38 or 40 pilot will help.your simply trying to get to 1.5 turn on fuel screw (your most likly at 4 now if you have the stock 36).A 118 main for sea level and 116 or 114 as you get in higher altitudes. If your running a kiehin 55/120 will fix you up.If you have a Dell'orto drilling the choke jet to .80mm (.031") will let the bike cold start easy. The stock .60 does not really allow good cold starting.- Craigslist Finds
Great idea,I have fun watching all the stuff that comes up on that other forum.Going twin shock way is cool but there all cool.Thinking about snagging a old 93 Fanta karoo for under 500$ right now for my next project after I finish my ty250a.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
What did they change?.The only issue I am having is I have to sand mounts on bike I little as they will not slide over.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
Received some parts for bike and started working on it more.Real happy with the work my guy did with reboring and crank rebuild.Received my falcon shocks from Europe and pretty nice looking shocks for just over 200 bucks. These old bikes are alot of fun to work on.- Age (and lack of riding) related aches
Fish oil pills, glucosamine, knee braces, drink alot of water.- What oil fuel mixture (and oil brand) do you use on your 2 stroke Gas Gas?

The meet in door county is about as north as they go.It is a excellent club with alot of cool people. This was my 1st summer riding trials and some of the best fun I had on 2 wheels.- Wisconsin
I am 20 miles from boarder in upper michigan.I also ride trials in door county but mostly practice at home.Join wota as it makes it more fun.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
We have a lot of issues here in michigan with them mainly because of weather. The main problem is the engines don't get up to temp and the pistons never quit slapping. It is terrible if you use them on jet ski,s and boats.Air cooled motors like this are a huge problem for the wisco in our conditions. I prefer to use better pistons such as vertex or wossner. The wossner was actually cheaper than the wisco for this bike.I will wait till spring to run bike in because not sure I can get a proper break in winter. Most likly will do the 5 minute run in cool down method.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
Sent crank and jug to stealth performance yesterday.I talked to him about the clearance and he said with the wossner it should be good but be careful on break in.Said if it was a wisco he would add a .001" because they use cheap aluminum. He builds crazy stuff and race motors for the snowmobile and high performance boats.- No Snap!
If you end up with constant carb problems I would not fiddle with it to much. You can buy a oko flat slide from u.s dealer for 100 bucks. They are made in Taiwan(not China junk).they are a copy of kiehin flat slide carb and work better than the round mikuni. They sell them for 110$ jetted for the ty250 and other bikes.I have used 4 so far on nonstock rebuilds with success including a 96kdx200.I ordered one today for a modified 74 ty250 and spent a extra 50 for the hand polishing and a custom cable kit and was still under 200.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
Daa,I did not look down there. Thanks Tony.Bringing crank and jug in after holidays to have reworked.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
I checked there and no info on fitting I can find.My guess is .0003" but not sure. Will send them a message and see what they say.Unreal such a high quality piston does not come with any fitting specs.- TY250A piston to wall clearance?
I just received a wossner oversize piston for my project bike.It does not have info on recommended clearance.Having no luck searching. If anyone can help me out here I would appreciate it.1974 TY250.- Another older guy
Ass hole, you made me laugh. Yes season is sort of short but the riding is fantastic.Unfortunately not alot of trials riders up here but seems to be picking up.Upper michigan is open un less posted close so can ride almost anywhere with 36 bucks worth of trail sticker.Plus alot of state land which is cool. Most of the smaller towns allow offroad vehicles on the roads as long as we stay off the highway.I tried a trail ride on my GG but not a good trail bike.Setting a nice course in my yard for practice and trucking it to more extreme offroad riding sections.Unreal the rocks it can climb that are a bitch on my yz.- Another older guy
