yes my stickers were also bad, i heat them up with a hair dryer and rub them with a cloth gently. doesnt matter anyway as i fell head over ***** when i was out on saturday and scuffed the back mudguard right on one of the white stickers so the new look is off.

I dont know if it leaks fuel or not its not something i ever have a problem with with any of my betas. I think it might feel slightly smaller between the legs not sure and as for the motor im not sure, as i say on first impressions im going to leave the fly wheel weight on. i wouldnt make much of a development rider as you can see . sorry

well got my new bike as i said last friday. fired it up for the first time today, doesnt seem to much different, although i think il leave the flywheel weight on for now. i think the white stickers on the back mudguard specially round the seat area will get a bit ****ty after a while. another point of note is that the back axle has been modified, it has been turned away in the middle to a smaller diameter for weight saving i suppose. i still havent took the lights and all that stuff off yet either but when you put the steering onto full lock on the rhs the horn comes on. nice happy enough with the bike all the same

i wouldnt say double tyre life, the arrow is there for a reason, probably 5 trials the proper way and then a couple more with it turned.

i ride the 270 in a higher gear for some things than i would the 250 and i find it to grip better in slippy conditions riding it like this if you understand what im saying. remember a few yrs ago saunders rid the british championship on a 160 gas gas so i think rider ability puts a lot of it into perspective.

the thinner gasket i believe will make the compression higher, id like the factory pipe but thats it. a lot of these things would be good for the continent or indoors where there is plenty of grip but here in the uk where we ride in ***** every weekend i think the beta is sharp enough without speding big dough on these extras.

i have had betas since 1998. i change each year and up until 2005 i had 250's. my 07 bike is my 3rd 270 and its hard to tell if there is much difference to be honest, the 270 might grip slightly better in mucky conditions but as people have said the 250 will go up anything the 270 will , one thing is that i cant hold onto the 270 in 4th.

anyway, enough about me. I measured my 07 betas frame against a 03. basically both are 90 mm at the top end, the 03 is 80mm at the bottom and the 07 is 60mm at the bottom. The new footrest hangars look a great a job, and strong. i think it would have been better without the red plastic bit down the tank, it will only fill with crap. i got my bike on friday night and i still havent started it, i will take flywheel weights, stand etc off it and try it this sat as there is no trial. But as people have said it definetly looks much more slender than the previous models.

are sure there isnt ****e in the carb which blocks the main jet every time you rev it.

of course. the only bikes i know about are betas.
