The sump cleans out easily because of the holes they have machined out on the 08' And it only feels a bit heavier when you get it stuck somewhere and have to hump it out, riding wise it doesn't feel heavy or cramped at all!! and throttle response is excellent with the new carb with the accelerator pump!!

My friend cracked his top yoke on his 98' techno a few years ago, he had it tig welded and was fine!!! It will do the job until you could get a new one!!

What should dougie ride for beta??? 2t or 4t? I'd like to see him ride the 2 stroke 270 in the world rounds in 08 to have a good chance on a proven bit of kit, but develop the 4 stroke ready for 09!!! He's definately the man for the job!! what do you think??

I think that depends on the gearing? I've put about 11 hours on my new sy 250fr and what a sweet bike, that motor has got plenty of grunt and will rev like a beast!!

I think betabonkers and hovis should have some of those!!!

My scorpa is just about run in now, i was having trouble riding it and thought i'd bought the wrong bike, until today!!!!! I took it upto betabonkers the other day and she had a clean and he took up the slack in the throttle and choke cables, adjusted a few things and we turned the offset handlebar clamps around to bring the bars back!!!!!! WOW!! I can't believe the difference it's like a different bike!!! Now the throttle response is excellent with no flat spots or hesitation, the steering and front end feels lighter and more stable, the standing position is much better, these small changes have transformed it into a fantastic bike!!! Today is the day that made me happy i'd gone to the dark side "4 stroke" it starts perfectly every time hot or cold and she grips like a beast! just gotta get used to riding in 1st more!!

just wait and see!! when it's run in fully i can ride it how i want to!!! not many hours left now!!

I bought some new cutting discs for my grinder the other day!!! So when are we putting your blade lump into your rev3???? but won't that make it a rev4!!!!!!! 4 stroke power!!! c'mon join the club bruvva!! you know it makes sense..

I've tried my mates 08 270 and what a bike, it's awesome!! If i had'nt already ordered my new scorpa i would have bought the 08 270 beta!!

why are so many people scared of the 270 beta??? Just like my mate hovis he was to scared to buy one so headed down the 250 route!! I've ridden both and they both excellent bikes, why do so many overlook the 270 and go straight for the 250???

I've done about 7 hours on the scorpa it had its first oil change yesterday, i'm still trying to ride it!!! very different it likes to be ridden agressively I'll be glad when it's fully run in so i can rev it how i want to, instead of trying to baby it and riding it all shapes!!!
