Yes I've ridden many English trials: 15 times the Scottish Six Days Trial 4 times the Scott The Lakes 2 Days The Manx 2 Days SSDT Pre-65 Two Days The Sandiford Trial (I can't remember the name). So I'm a real fan of English trials. I love them. And I'd like to ride one year the Reeth 3 Days....and of course repeat the others....except the Scott !!! To crazy and hard for an old man.

I recommend you to ride this trial: The Santigosa 3 Days Trials is the best event in Spain, then we have the Arinsal Two Days (August) in Andorra, the Cingles 3 Days in October(next week)...or later the Ibiza 2 Days (and 3 nights) !!!! in november or december. So for me my best trials are: (in that order) 1.- SSDT 2.- Santigosa 3 Days 3.- Verdon 5 Days 4.- Creuse 4 Days 5.- Lakes 2 Days 6.- Manx 2 Days 7.- Arinsal 2 Days 8.- Cingles 3 Days 9.- Aveyron 5 Days 10.- Ibiza 2 Days .........

Waiting for the SSDT 2005 !!!! and I hope and wish riding the new Montesa 4T. I imagine that next year there will be some 4T: Sherco - Scorpa and Montesa-Honda....so the SSDT should think about the refuelling: Petrol no oil. Regards to all Scottish entusiasts !!!!

I think no problem to camp there, in the same place. The start is in the Ski resort ans there are plenty of place. I rode also there (past Spanish Championship) and there are some other places to stay. Cheaper places, like a youth hostel...

Dreaming about the SSDT and wishing to ride the new sections !!!! It seems a nice sections, like next group Trotters.

I'm agree that now the SSDT is easier than before. I remember my first ride in 1979, or then in 1990 and the sections (and also the route !!!) were more dificult than today." The bikes are also much better and the introduction of the "non-stop" riding makes the sections easier. That's why (I think) it's so popular now and oversuscribed every year !!!

Oviedo is not so far from Puerto Pajares. It's after Pola de Lena, then near Mieres...and probably nearest than stay in Leon. So if you know Oviedo it's a nice town to visit and stay. Good food and fun !!! Thanks for you message. Always a good luch is needed in the SSDT.

No ticket in advance needed for the World Round. Then for acomodation, in the same place there are something, but better go to Lena, Pola de Lena (direction Asturias-Oviedo)....or if not the biggest city near there: Leon. Regards from Spain

Ishy, Thanks at first for the information. I'm agree with you that I should carry all this in a Bumbag...but I've no bumbag !!! I mean I can't carry anything. I'm not used, I don't like...and I've good luck. I rode 14 times the SSDT and never a problem. I hope that this year my good luck goes on... My favourite event by far.....And I usually ride every year the Santigosa 3 Days, the Cingles 3 Days, Ibiza 2 Days, Port del Compte 2 Days, Picassent 3 Days...all in Spain; then Verdon 5 Days, Creuse 4 Days in France, Valtellina 3 Days in Italy...then I tested the Manx Two Days, The Lakes...etc...so I can say everybody that the SCOTTISH are the Best. Congratulations also for this GREAT website. I've just discovered some weeks ago...and now I've look every day. Regards and see you in May.

Puerto Pajares is in the North of Spain, is not a town is a skii resort in the Asturias comunity. The biggest town near there is Leon, so you will find easier on the map.
