Well I'll try to explain in my poor english. I've spoken with Montesa factory just today and they said that the problem now is ok. It was a SMALL problem and they change a " little screw"....and that's all. And I should say that in Spain NOBODY had this problem. All the 4rt in the markek are working well, so I don't know if they will change this "little screw". I imagine if necesary the concesionary - dealer will contact to all customers. Don't worry about that, the Montesa-Honda quality department are in my opinion "so strict"....

Yes the information is true, but don't worry. NO PROBLEM. Only could be a small problem in some bikes (do you know the "maniatic" Japanese....) I could tell you that all the friends with the new 4RT (more than 20) and myself have no problem with this. They recommend starting with throttle completly closed, and wait about 2 minutes....and this is completly different than a 2 T. So, enjoy your riding, and don't worry. It's only a quality control.

Well I know all this trials cause usually I'm riding some of them, or I rode in past years, so I'll give you my modest opinion: - Best trial of the world: SCOTTISH SIX DAYS. - Best trial in France: Verdon 5 Days (last week of August), then 4 Jours Creuse in Sardent, then Aveyron 4 Days, then Aveyron Hivernale 3 Days and probably the Indre 3 Days but I never been there cause same days of the Santigosa 3 Days in Spain. Best Trial in Italy: Valtellina 3 Days Best Trial in Spain: Santigosa 3 Days (Easter Week), then Cingles 3 Days.. Best Trial in Andorra: Arinsal 2 Days in August. I imagine that you also know the excelent Manx Two days, the Lake two days...and lately the Reeth 3 Days.

The MONTESA % will be higher, cause I know some names in the list that moved from Beta-Sherco and Gas-Gas to Montesa 4RT....

I'm with trialero! By the way, will I meet you in May at Ft William? Boofont: Of course I'll be in Fort William next May !!!! Well, just in case I'm lucky with the ballot....... Well, if any doubts, in Spain the Aprils fools days is the 28th december and Fuji will ride only trials next year. He is training very hard in Girona, I saw him several times, and he is doing the same sections with the new Montesa 4rt !!!! The only problem coud be in the Indoor trials.....but we will see soon !!

YES Cabestany to Sherco and at first the 2T. Then Jarvis probably before in th 4T. The Beta riders for 2005 will be TONI BOU and KUROYAMA. Best wishes for new year !!!

In Spain there are some training courses, specially in summer and in Catalonia. So not far from France. Be ready !!!

He is in the "dream team". I mean he is with Dougie and Fujinami in Montesa for another year....

As Carly says here in Spain the rumours are the same: in mid January there will be the new Sherco 4 stroke.......and ready for the SSDT'05. The bike is ready, Pons and Paxau rode usually with them...and only some problems with the production. Hope we can see soon in trials !!!!

YES...the 04 315 rear wheel fits the new stroker. It's a bit heavier but no problem. So don't sell your rear wheel.

Yes Cabestany has signed for Sherco. Jarvis also and in Spain we think for selected world rounds and for the SSDT and Scott....And probably with the new 4 stoke. Then there are some rumours that Manzano could ride Sherco also.

I imagine that now there are Montesa 4T in England, cause there are plenty around. If not, for sure next week. Today I've been watching training in Girona Dougie, Fujinami and also Amos, all with the 4th standard. Simply incredible. They made the same sections than the 2T. so you'll see a competitive bike in high level and a superb bike in a clubman class.

Raga will sign this Sunday for another year contract at the Gas-Gas party in Les Basses (Girona), so then Raga (Gas-Gas) for next year. Freixa (Montesa)...and Cabestany not sure if Beta or Sherco.......

The Montesa 4T bikes are ready in Spain....so probably next week !!!
